While Jacksonville’s defensive unit and performed well, the collection of linebackers can be improved. The oldest starter at the position is twenty-seven year old Nick Greisen, so the team may be patient and wait for the unit to continue to mesh and develop together. A veteran may be brought in to be used as a support and a leader to the younger players, but either way, this is one area that the team can improve in greatly.
The main concern on the offensive line is probably in right guard Chris Naeole, who will turn thirty-three next season. The rest of the group is fairly young, and the play from the line has been exceptional at times this season. There isn’t much depth on the line, though, so one would expect the Jaguars to work to change that during the offseason. The addition of right tackle Tony Pashos in free agency helps reduce the concern here.
