Allison was a Junior College All American at Georgia Military Academy before enrolling at East Carolina. He made an immediate impact for the Pirates, hauling in 83 passes for 1,024 yards and seven touchdowns, earning All C-USA honors in the process. As a senior, he missed three games, but still finished the season with 62 catches for 708 yards and four touchdowns.
Aundrae Allison is a talented wideout that can do a little bit of everything. He has very good speed, showing the ability to separate and be a vertical threat. He also shows the quickness and playmaking ability with the ball in his hands to make people miss and turn a short pass into a big gain. Allison is not just a playmaker, but he has solid size, and is willing to go over the middle and make the catch.
With just two years at the D1 level, he still lacks a lot of experience against major competition. He will need more work at the next level, as he relies too much on his physical ability to make plays.
Allison had two solid years for the Pirates, and tested out well in the post season. His workouts may have pushed him in the second round area, but should have solidified him on Day One at some point.
