Talib is a big play defensive back. He has fantastic ball skills. He knows how to locate the ball in the air, and has the ability to go up and make a play on the ball. He shows excellent athleticism on the field, and has the versatility to play corner or safety. He has good size for either spot, and is not afraid to help out in run support.
Talib is a bit inconsistent and can give up some big plays. He needs to become more disciplined on the field. He lacks blazing speed as well, and could have problems with quicker receivers.
Talib answered the questions about his speed and has solidified his stock in the first round. He should land somewhere in the middle of the first round, and with some work could have a fine pro career ahead of him.
