Dre Moore DT 6'4 305 Maryland 4.86

Moore did not do much his first two years as a Terp, totaling just 30 tackles, 2.5 for loss, and a sack during that time. As a junior though, he had 47 tackles, 7.5 for loss, and 3.5 sacks on the year. Moore earned All ACC honors as a senior, finishing with career highs of 63 tackles, 8.5 for loss, six sacks, and an interception.

Moore has a nice frame, is athletic, and strong. He has a quick burst off the ball, and shows the ability to get penetration and disrupt the action. He also sets up quickly, anchors well, and can really clog lanes. He has very good at holding his ground at the point of attack and capable of getting off the block to make the play. He also shows the quickness to move down the line and bring down the ball carrier.

Moore has not been a major pass rusher in college. He has made some plays, but his talent level would dictate more of an impact. He has worn down in games so he may need to bulk up more to not be beaten up over the course of the game.

Moore is a very good run stopper that has potential as a playmaker. There seems to be a pecking order set amongst the defensive tackles in this years draft. Sedrick Ellis and Glenn Dorsey are elite prospects, while Kentwan Balmer and Trevor Laws are in the second tier. Moore is as good as anyone after that and could potentially hear his name called in the second round.
