Otah played two seasons at Valley Forge Military Academy before enrolling at Pitt. He immediately became a starter at tackle, and held the job during his two seasons there.
Otah is an absolute beast. He has a massive frame, and the natural strength to dominate at the point of attack. Once he locks on to a defender, he does not let go. He also combines that size and strength with solid athleticism. He shows the ability to adjust on the move and moves well in pass protection.
Otah is a good athlete for his size, but he still has troubles with smaller, quicker defenders. They can beat him off the snap, and beat him with speed off the edge. This may limit his overall upside as a left tackle, but it should not be a major hinderance on the right side.
Otah is a late bloomer that had a great senior season to become a potential first round candidate. He has the chance to be a very good right tackle, and workouts could dictate just how highly he goes and how he may project at left tackle.
