Sullivan earned a starting job in 2004 in his first year on the field, and has not let go since then.
Sullivan is one of the better center prospects in the draft. He gets out of his stance quickly and ready to take on the lineman. He has the power at the point of attack to control the defender, and drive them off the ball in the running game. He is tough and will not stop until the play is over. He is a center, but he may be able to play a guard position because of his ability to move defenders off the ball.
Sullivan may not be quite as athletic or mobile as the ideal center should be. He does not adjust well to counter moves and has some problems when trying to block on the move.
Sullivan has a future in the NFL, and he may be able to play both guard and center at the next level. He will need to test well athletically to ensure a spot on Day One. If he does that, he may end up being one of the top interior lineman selected.
