Brown has been one of the best lineman in the FCS the past two seasons. He moved into the starting lineup as a freshman, and played well as a sophomore but has become a two time All American.
Brown has a good frame with room for growth in the NFL. He shows good athleticism, and the ability to slide well laterally. Brown also has been impressive getting out and blocking on the move, and getting downfield to block. He plays hard, is tough, and will not stop until the play is over. He has played guard, but he may have the ability to move outside to right tackle in the NFL.
Brown has been a standout at guard, but his game may actually project better to tackle, although he is terribly raw there. He will need to get stronger and show more power at the point of attack in the running game to remain inside in the NFL. A move outside to tackle will be completely foreign and will take time to adjust to a completely new position.
Kerry Brown has been very successful at the FCS level and has the talent to play in the NFL but may need some time. He will need time to get stronger to play inside or time to adjust to move outside to tackle. The potential versatility could make him attractive late in the draft and could develop a few years down the road.
