Kettani saw action in three games as a freshman but did not post any stats. As a sophomore, he ran for 235 yards and one touchdown. As a junior Kettani rushed for 880 yards and ten scores. He was again a load as a senior, falling just shy of 1,000 yards with 982 on the year, to go along with four touchdowns.
Strengths
Kettani is an excellent interior runner. He has a compact frame, is strong, and fights for extra yardage. He is a load and should be able to pick up tough yardage at the next level. He also has surprising speed for a fullback. He can hit a hole and get into space and pick up big chunks of yardage. Being a fullback he has also shown he can block. He is tough and not afraid to take on defenders, and did a fine job clearing out room for Shun White to top the 1,000 yard mark this year.
Weaknesses
The obvious with any military school is the commitment he has after graduation. Kettani will not be able to play in the NFL for five years, so that is a huge road block for his NFL future. As a player, Kettani has only played in an option attack, so he is not familiar with a pro style offense. He has virtually no experience catching the football and will have to learn to be more of a blocker.
Future
Kettani has the talent and toughness to make it in the NFL. He has above average running ability for a fullback and would be an attractive option in the mid rounds if not for his military commitment. The Naval Academy barred him from attending the combine and Kettani must serve his five year service obligation before getting a shot at the NFL.
