Strengths
Tuitama is a pocket passer that has demonstrated the ability to carry an offense at times. He has decent size and the toughness to take hits in the pocket. He has a very good arm and is capable of making any throw needed at the next level. Tuitama has continued to improve during his career, and has accuracy is the main reason. He shows good enough mobility to elude the rush and buy more time by escaping the pocket.
Weaknesses
Consistency has been an issue with Tuitama. He has been erratic throughout his career with his accuracy, even with the improvements he has made over his career. He also makes some questionable decisions at times. He tries to do too much at times and will force the ball into coverage. There is also the issue of multiple concussions he suffered during his sophomore year.
Future
Tuitama is a prospect that arrived at Arizona with big expectations. Even though the program didn’t improve as much as anticipated, he developed into a solid signal caller. He has improved over his career, and is worth a shot on day two to see if he continues to grow as a passer. He has the tools and could be a steal in a few seasons if some team has some patience.
