Peter King lists Troy Smith #2 overall

In a recent issue of Sports Illustrated, Peter King's mock has Troy Smith going number two overall to the Oakland Raiders. Troy Smith's stock continues to rise and while he could go in the first round, it seems like a stretch to predict he'll go that high. While scouts love Smith's athleticism they are worried that his lack of height (listed at 6-1, but might be 5-11) could cause problems at the next level.

Peter King knows as much about mock drafts as he does about foreign policy, which is to say Not Much. He could be right, but even a blind squirrel finds a nut every once in a while.

I pray that it does. My dream draft for the browns has them taking Adrian Peterson first round and Troy Smith second, welcome to the cleveland age if that miracle happens.

Even if the Browns draft those two they'll still be horrible. Romeo may have been a good coordinator, but he sucks as a HC. There is no disipline, plays keep getting called in late, horrible management of the clock...ect... And I still haven't even talked about the front office yet.

Troy Smith deserves to go in the first round of draft because he is easily the smartest and most talented QB available. Also for the Raiders to pick Calvin Johnson with their first round pick would be a waste. Look what they've done with Randy Moss, absolutely nothing. They just need someone to get him the ball(troy smith).

outside of those people with their scarlet and grey on, most people can see that this guy doesn't belong in the first round let alone the second pick. There are a few Qb's out there who are much better pro prospects.
