Trannon skips hoops to heal for draft

Michigan State receiver Matt Trannon told coach Tom Izzo Friday afternoon he doesn't intend to re-join the basketball Spartans. Trannon will instead concentrate on getting healthy in preparation for the NFL draft in April. Trannon will probably switch to TE in the NFL and is currently rated as the number 4 TE prospect by FF's Robert Davis.
