Branch not in class, expected to enter the draft
Michigan defensive tackle Alan Branch is expected to enter the NFL draft after reports he hasn't registered for any spring classes.
Branch could be a top ten pick in April's draft. The 6-6, 330 pound tackle is immovable on the inside of the defensive line. His size and strength allows him to hold his ground and clog running lanes. Branch is also a very good athlete for his size and shows the ability to get around blocks.

Wow- scouts will go really far to find out if they can "officially" put this guy on their big board, huh?
I, personally, feel the Packers have a good DT rotation and unless we let go of Cullen Jenkins or Colin Cole, I don't think the Packers will even try to go for him or any DT in Day 1. Branch won't fall to #16 anyways.
If the Bucs don't get a shot @ CJ, I think they'll take Branch at #3/4. Problem is there are way too many DTs who were picked in the top-10 who turn out as busts. Branch looks different though.
