Brennan declares, still could return to Hawaii

Hawaii quarterback Colt Brennan declared himself eligible for the NFL draft. According to Hawaii spokeswoman Lois Manin, Brennan filed as a formality to meet the NFL deadline, but is still deciding whether he'll skip his senior season. Brennan has 72 hours before he needs to make an official decision.

While i believe Colt Brennan is a quarterback that can make every throw on the field, and may impress at th ecombine and all-star games, he has too much ground to make up to become a top draft pick. With quartbacks like Jamarcuss Russel, Brady Quinn, Troy Smith, and other notable top quarterbacks entering the draft, Brennan's talents will not equal his value in a draft where few teams are looking for a signal-caller.
If Colt Brennan waited one more year, giving him two years as a starter, he will be more mature and a top pick in the draft. Don't cost yourself millions Colt. Stay in school one more year.
