Raiders seek 3rd rounder for Moss
Randy Moss probably won't play another game with the Oakland Raiders. The latest reports have Moss getting into a verbal fight with new head coach Lane Kiffin.
Its rumored that the Raiders are looking for a 3rd rounder and a veteran receiver for Moss.
ESPN's Chris Mortensen reported that Green Bay quarterback Brett Favre has asked the team to consider acquiring Moss.
If a Moss to Green Bay trade becomes a reality it could shake up the first round. The Raiders would give more consideration to selecting Calvin Johnson with the first pick and the Packers would be unlikely to draft a receiver high with Moss, Donald Driver, and Greg Jennings leading their receiving corp.

How about Moss to the Bills for McGahee, Josh Reed and a swap of third round picks?
As a Raider Fan, I want to get rid of Moss. But is a 3rd rounder enough value?
Even though Moss had his worst season in his career, he is still worth more than a 3rd rounder!
come on miami reunite culpepper and moss for the love of god!
Minnesota should trade to get Randy Moss back.
Minnesota should trade for Randy Moss and make him a Viking again.
I just want Moss out of Oakland, what a joke of an organization. It's really too bad he's had to waste two years of his career there. Enjoy that 3rd rounder Raiders fans, maybe Al Davis will use it wisely...
I don't agree with the packers bringing in a virus like Moss into a team that is very young and on its way up. We already have a potential liability with Robinson coming back. The team would be better off going and getting a free agent like Drew Bennet, Crayton or Hackett and work on there talent instead of there attitudes. Otherwise draft Ginn or Jarrett and start with a clean slate and not bad egg and such gamble. If the raiders would give him up for a single third round pick (which i don't think they will) other teams will be interested. I think image and attitude of the whole team would be more important than one guy who might have already lost it.
MOSS TO THE PACK!!!! For a third rounder and turd ferguson!
I find the trainwreck that is the Raiders fascinating. I'd look for the Raiders to trade Moss, draft Russell #1, then move up to the bottom of the 1st round to take one of the receivers (Sidney Rice, Bowe, Meachem).
3rd rounder enough value? c'mon, the raiders are lucky to be getting a 3rd rounder....what has Moss done in Oakland?
what about chambers and a fifth for moss??? reunite with daunte
I f wants wants to be happy and we as NFL fans want to be happy . Solution Randy Moss to Miami with Daunte Culpepper . I for one am a fan of the game not a certain team , so lets this randy moss scoring machine open up in Miami.
Moss to Miami sounds like a lock and key fit! Id love to have Moss on my beloved Browns , being realistic , Moss to Miami sounds solid . The Dolphins would be crazy to pass this up!
There is no way Moss would want to go to Green Bay. When he last played there in a playoff game with the Vikings, fans started shouting racial slurs at him during warm-ups and continued until he pretended to moon them after a touchdown.
I doubt he has even the remotest interest in playing for those fans. And once Favre retires, he'll be taking throws from Aaron Rodgers? I don't think so.
How about having Moss back where it all started. Moss back in Minnesota. This heps both sides. Moss gets to leave Oakland and comes to a place witha QB that has a great arm. HTe vikings get a huge boost in widereciever and the vikings become that much better.
If we trade Moss to the Packers then try and get a first round pick or a 2nd+a good O-Linemn
The Packer's O-line is starting to jell, the defense played extremely well down the stretch and all the new players have a year of experience under their belts. Moss would be the final piece of the pie in a playoff run. He would give them the legitimate deep threat which would force the safeties to stay back, opening up the running game. The real question is what would he do to the Packer's locker room? The Moss deal would make a lot of sense short term, one maybe two years but long term I think it would hurt the team.
For those of you who questioned whether or not a 3rd rounder was equal value for Moss...go back and reread the article....they are looking for 3rd rounder AND a veteran receiver...
Moss is still a phenomenal talent and has demonstrated a dramatic increase in maturity. His lackluster performance these last two seasons can easily be attributed to the fact that he has been playing on the Oakland Raiders. No player on that "black hole" of a team has been playing particularly well the last few seasons.
Reunite moss and culpeper....bring moss to miami for a 3rd round pic and marty booker. This would leave Chambers and Moss battling for the leading spot.
Id say Booker and a 3rd or 4th rounder for Moss, cuz if you give away chambers we're left in the same position we are now, only one guy to spread the field and any team in the league can shut down a one man threat
How about the Pats. third round and Caldwell. Sounds okay to me.
The San Diego Chargers wouldnt be a bad home for Randy,Kenan McCardell a 3rd round pick and a 2008 4th rounder would be what there askin for. He has a history of dissin his coachs, but Marty gets alot of respect and is a Vetern..Moss,LT,Gates would be tough to handle
WE ARE MARSHALL!!! PENNINGTON TO MOSS????
Moss to the Saints for a 3rd and old man Horn.
I wish the pats could get him, take out his brain and switch it with Jeryy Rice's while he sleeps and he could be the best ever. and he'd work harder.
Even though Moss has had his issues. You know he would play hard for the Packers. He wants the ball and Favre would get him the ball as much as possible.
If this happened I would be thrilled

This is too funny. I was thinking yesterday: I wonder if the Bills would get a Moss with Losman's great deep ball? I'd totally love this trade. Reed is a waste. McGahee sucks. I wouldn't mind drafting a running back first round and getting Moss.
As a raider fan, I honestly would like to see him out of oakland, but not for a third round pick, and the vet receiver has to be driver... or at LEAST Greg Jennings...but i like the idea of letting Moss go...but they better give us something like a 2nd or 1st rounder of not a receiver...
I say yes to giving Brett Favre a deep threat receiver for his last 2 years in Green Bay. That will give him his 2nd ring and then he can retire. Also, for all you Favre naysayers, where were you when players like Cunningham, Moon and Testeverde were playing older than Brett and how come nobody is talking about That old guy playin for the vi queens?
I sure hope the Patriots give Moss a look. Winning cures all problems, besides hes not near as bad as T.Owens. They gave up a 2nd round pick for Corey Dillon and he was supposed to have a bad attitude and he's been a great pick up. They was rumored to be interested in Moss before the trade deadline.
How about the Atlanta Falcons tradeing Mike Vick for Moss and the first rounder?
DONE DEAL!!!
Randy Moss to the Jaguars!! Leftwich can finally have a WR to throw bombs too. Both Marshal Alums!! Jags send 3rd round pick and tough WR Ernest Wilford.
The Chiefs need a wide reciever. A third round pick would be a great deal. BUT I don't think Al Davis would do that to his arch rival. hr would demand more.
Wherever he goes he will get back to being the best reciever in the league.
oh my goodness, are some of you serious? There's NO WAY that Moss will go to Miami. I'm a Vikings fan and Moss and Culpepper were at each other's throats a lot. Culpepper was way overrated....and Moss is simply the best receiver to ever play in the NFL. Moss made Culpepper, without Moss....Culpepper is nothing. As he's shown since being without Moss. I'd actually like to see him back in Minnesota (Moss that is)....it'll never happen....but I'd like to see it.
how about moss to the giants for tim carter and a OTHER WR OTHER THEN SINORICE MOSS PLUS A 3rd that will be A ON HEARD OF combo eli to both plax and moss
Toomer & 3rd Rounder for Moss..
Randy Moss & Plaxico Burress? SWEEEEET
Okay Randy Moss maybe mad and angry but his first year in oakland he went over 1000 yards reciveing he just wants a leader at Qarterback and Brooks isn't that if they trade at all they should trade Porter and some draft picks (not the first second or thirds) to Tampa for their first round pick and with that they should draft Calvin Johnson then they would have Russle and Johnson. With Johnson they could have they same type of deal that Indy has with Harrison and Wyane.
how bout a 3 way trade sending randy moss to buffalo for mcgahee and a 3rd rounder and than the ravens trading a 3rd rounder and jamal lewis for willis mcgahee giving moss to the bills jamal and picks to the raiders and willis mcgahee to the ravens giving the ravens a great back to win another super bowl
As the biggest greenbay fan there is moss is kinda yeah kinda no for me.I think a third rounder and ferguson would be resonable for moss, but there is no way in hell the pack would give up driver,or jennings for him.But would'nt be unhappy if they brought him in for two years.Honestly i would rather them bring in drew bennett and draft HB/lynch from cal!THE PACK WILL MAKE THE CORRECT CHOICES IN THE OFFSEASON!
Moss to the packers would be awsome. Moss has said before that he would like to play with favre and i think he would try his best. Think about it Driver Moss Jennings.
I AM A PACKER FAN AND I DON'T WANT MOSS HERE, HE IS A CANCER THAT MOONED ME IN THE END ZONE, I WOULD SELL MY TICKETS AND TURN MY BACK ON THE PACKERS ONCE FAVRE LEAVES!!!
well i can tell you what jersey he wont be donning. A Pittsburgh Steelers jersey, anybody who cries and whines so much like a Randy Moss or TO will NEVER get to wear a jersey of such prestige.
I'll take him send him to Pittsburg. the Big Ben and Moss combo and don't forget about Hines would be our ticket to #6
In a GM mock draft, I got Randy Moss and a Raiders 7th for the Vikings 3rd...
A third and a veteran receiver for a guy who is about to turn 30 and has been average for the last three years...please. I'll take him in Green Bay for a 3rd, but nothing more.
There are many teams that could use a deep threat like Moss. We know that Al Davis wouldn't dare trade Moss to a division rival, but Kansas City needs a deep threat to go along with Larry Johnson. The Chiefs could trade away a third or maybe even a fourth round pick and a proven veteran WR in Eddie Kennison for Moss. It would work out for both teams; Oakland would get the draft pick(s) it needs to rebuild their team and a veteran to show those younger guys the ropes, and KC gets a big play WR to stretch the field and open up the running game for LJ.
I don't recall Randy Moss saying anything about wanting to play with Brett Favre... T.O. said that when he was playing with the Eagles. Moss is a winner, and once he leaves that worthless organization in Oakland he'll be back to playing great. He may even be the final piece of the puzzle for a few teams.
I agree with the pennington and moss thing. Jets can give a 3rd and mccariens for moss and if you remember back in college they were a dynamic duo and even though pennington could not throw far he still got it to him. moss, coles cotchery, and brad smith at receievrs would be unbelievable, and having leon washington cedric housten and if they give away thier 1st for thomas jones or turner they would be great for years. They also have that very good young line.
Moss to the Pack? If they do no need to get a reciever and should be able to get a RB to eventually replace green. If the draft Lynch or Peterson in the frist round they would have a pretty good offense heading into next year.
QB - Farve
WR - Driver, Jennings, Moss, Robinson
RB - Green, Peterson/Lnych, Herron
Just need a big play TE
Don't see this happening... but I'd like to see Denver give up their second round pick for Moss. Then I could see Moss, Walker and "Mr. Reliable" Smith on the field at the same time with Cutler's arm. Throw in a reunion with Clinton Portis and hello Super Bowl. That is of course after they get another CB. Oh yeah and a DE. Oh and then there's a need for DT. Also, they are getting old on the O-Line. OK...Hello Playoffs at least. :)
did you miss the obvious? ATLANTA!!!
they trade Lelie and a 3rd for Moss and Vick finally has a target
That bitter Viking fan needs to get a grip. Moss and Culpepper complimented one another very well. Moss has not produced as well without Daunte. And Daunte has not done as well without Moss. Daunte has been hurt for 2 years, but 3 years ago had an MVP year with Moss out half of that year. Gimme a break. Some of us Dolphin fans are willing to give Daunte another chance once he is completely healed. Why would Moss want to go back to Minnesota when they have nothing but an old man and a second rate rookie (sorry, it'll be his 2nd year in 07) for QBs? I think Miami is a much more likely destination, but there are some other teams I could see picking him up, like the Ravens, Jags, or even the 49ers.
I think its funny how people call the raiders a joke of an organization. It's kind of like when Batman gets his butt kicked a couple of episodes in a row and you start saying he sucks too. Oakland was in the superbowl just 4 years ago, and was knocking on the door 2 years prior. They arent the lions, they arent the browns... they own every team in the league in overall record except the chiefs and ravens I think. People expect TOO MUCH out of them and don't allow their organization to go through the same hard times that every other franchise has gone through.
um randy moss said when he went to the oakland raiders that the team he loved to play against the most was the Packs. He said it's all because of no.4, he said he had the utmost respect for him. So umm...all you ppl saying he doesn't want to green bay, get your facts straight. And get over Randy mooning you guys, im a big fan of green bay too, but he can give us some w's which is more important than him taunting some ppl who were yelling at him with racial slurs. We can get the super bowl with a high powered offense and young and improving defense!
Everyone here is dreaming if you think Moss will "return to form" once he is moved by Oakland. This turd is a waste of talent. Never have I seen such a consistant display of alligator arms and complete and utter laziness in route running. I'm not trying to make a case that the Raiders did not contribute to his decrease in production, but anyone who gives up as easily as this guy will never succeed in the league.
if moss was with brett, do you really think that he would play for the packers. if the packers wanted moss they should have gotten him sooner , matybe i will see a new moss ,who knows.
He will end up a TITAN.....
Randy is a rare talent, but if things get rough he tucks his head between his legs. I think the league has become to tough for him and he's scared to get hit. Jerry is the best receiver ever and the "freak" will never compare!
moss to greenbay would be awsome
moss to green bay would be awsome brett and moss togather would be unstopable and can help the pack go far
How about Moss, Porter, and 2nd round for T.O., J. Jones. Looks pretty good for either team.
Packers would be a super bowl caliber team if they land moss. I am a packer fan who would love to see moss there. Just think of this duo DRIVER MOSS JENNINGS ROBINSON. The packers just need to draft a running back and a Tight end and they win the superbowl. If they land moss the running game will open up and they will crush every team. There defense is improving fast and looked good down the stretch. Packers would easily give up a 3rd round and ferguson or even maybe a second rounder for moss. If moss finishes out his career with the numbers he put up to begin he will be the most controversial player ever to be in the Hall of fame. Once favre is done playing also this gives favres replacement an easy transition into the league with a 3 big name revievers ? Everyone says Moss is a cancer to a team ? He ruins every team? Brett Favre wont take shit from Moss and he will whip Moss into shape right away. The packers have a leader in Favre unlike the Raiders who dont have a leader and Moss had no guidance. I dont see a problem in the packers landing favre it will be a great move by the orginization!
Randy Moss, Green Bay Fans , and Racial Slurs...sounds like the good makings of a smear story cooked up by a Vikings fan. The reason? To explain away the habitually poor behavior and attitude of Randy Moss. His lack of respect for anything, especially football and it's fans. Let the Canadians have him. That is the closest I would ever care to see him in Green Bay. Somethings are more important than winning.
MOSS TO SAN DIEGO OR NEW ENGLAND? CAN YOU SAY SUPER BOWL? PUT HIM IN SAN DIEGO AND CREATE A 3 HEADED MONSTER? BRADY TO MOSS FOR THE SCORE???
BOTH SCENARIOS SPELL DANGER FOR THE REST OF THE LEAGUE.
Vikings need to pick up a wide out thats for sure , but i cant see them getting moss because childress wants a discipline team , and moss has none of that, he wont be in minnesota but i do see alanta fitting him well
Why not in GB? Moss has always been a top 10 receiver and yes last year was horrible but who wasnt on that sorry excuse the raiders call an offense. Moss needs leadership and Brooks could not provide that to him nor even see moss when he did finish his routes wide open. Id be frustrated too. GB should give the 3rd rounder or even a second and throw in the underachieving and injury prone Ferguson...while theyre at it throw in Ruvell (sp?) Martin he aint gonna do anything anyways. Id love to see Moss wearing the green and gold!
I say Moss to the Broncos. Either a third round and aging veteran Rod Smith, or Plummer straight for Moss. Then the Raiders will have a Good Veteran QB and draft Calvin Johnson to replace Moss. Denver will get a motivated WR to compliment Javon Walker and make Cutler look like a star.
I don't know if Moss is enough to make the Pack a Superbowl contender, but I do know that Minnesota needs a decent quarterback more than another WR. I don't think Jackson is going to be the answer, at least not this season based upon how he played last season. This guy's definitely a project!
I like the idea of Moss to GB. I know the Raiders asked for a 3rd, but what about a 4th plus Robinson and Ferguson. With Moss in the line up niether of these two is very useful. Martin showed enough ability this year to be #4. Raiders get two wide recievers with experience, Packers keep there 3rd Rounder, and still have a deep WR corps. Moss is the deep threat that the Pack needs.
How about Moss to Detroit for Mike Williams + 3rd pick. In Martz' system, Kitna or not, Moss and Roy would be better than Holt and Bruce and might get the Lions started in the right direction.
Porter isn't going to be traded or released until after june 15th (or whatever date it is around that time)so his contract won't count against this years cap.
If you go by what the raiders want, the teams to me that seem a possibility to do the 3rd & vet WR.(and they probably want a cheaper one)are..
Packers - Robert Fergusen
Redskins - Brandon Lloyd
Jets - Justin McCareins
Davis won't trade moss within the division and I think guys like Booker and Toomer make to much and other teams don't have the the type of player I think Davis is hoping to get.
Moss could be the answer in Minnesota, and it will cost them probably 1 decent player and a second round draft pick, but I think with Jacksons arm, it could be a rebirth of a downfield strike in Minny.
Some of you people are just plain stupid with what your saying and thinking will happen. Moss to Green Bay is the most true rumor so far with it surfacing on ESPN. Oakland fans, it may make you mad but what oakland wants from the packers according to my inside sources is Bubba Franks,Robert Fergeson, and a third rounder. Driver and Jennings will not be going anywhere and driver has alot more value than Moss does at this point. For packer fans that say they will dis-own the packers if Moss comes, you are a pathetic excuse for a packer fan and should just not call yourself a fan at all. Favre has said many times he would like the packers to acquire Randy if possible. If people actually pay attention to Moss's actions they'll realize that he has been growing up ever so slowly, but he has made great strides at it. But if any of you have seen any clips of the vikings playing the packers on nfl films moss gets up and says "i gotta see this, this is brett favre playing, one of the best qbs ever." The respect Favre and Moss have for each other is astounding when hearing interviews with the two when asked questions about each other. Many of you may not know this but Favre and Moss actually are friends off the field. Moss would not,i repeat NOT be a cancer as long as Favre is the qb.
So of these posts are hilarious. Moss to a division rival? That would never happen, ever. Even if Denver, SD, or KC, gave up their entire draft, Al still wouldn't pull the trigger on it. So get that thought right out of your heads.
And I refuse to believe that they are only asking for a 3rd + WR. I don't see anything less than a 2nd rounder. Being a Raider fan, I'd trade him for a turkey sandwhich. I'm tired of his heartless play. However, he still has value and Al won't let him go for nothing. He pay him to sit on the bench if he doesn't find an offer he likes, i.e. Jerry Porter.
Moss is old news. He takes plays off, opposing players know when he isn't getting the ball because he doesn't finish his routes. He lost his top end speed. He's a possession reciever at best. He complains when he doesn't get the ball. He definately won't be happy on the Bills, i can just see Losman blowing it and Moss walking off the field. He also won't go to any team in the AFC west. Somehow i see the raiders getting revenge and sending him to some crappy team. Nothing says revenge like sending a star to a bottom feeder. Moss is one of the biggest wastes of talents ever to be in the NFL. He could of been a Hall of Famer. Not anymore.
Wow is all I gotta say. First isnt McGahee a free agent this year? So trading him wouldnt work then. Second a third and a vet reciever would be a great deal for oakland as Moss stock isnt that great because he is 30. Third for all you packer fans saying he is a cancer to a team... Answer me this what has he done in Oakland to make him a cancer besides wanting to win and getting mad like anyone who has played at a high level and was competive? The guy lives in a retirement community in oakland to try and stay out of trouble, he fire his idiot agent and had favres agent for awhile. The guy is totally changed since he was with the vikings. Not to mention Green Bay and Favre have some magic way of making troubled players(Not trouble like TO my god I agree never to the packers) actually play to there potental and be good people. Not to mention he be happy that he is getting the ball and winning it would shut any argueing from him up. 3rd pick and Ferguason for Moss would be a great deal for the pack. They could then go get Lynch, and if miller is still there in the second go get a TE. That offense would be amazing. Also Harron isnt the third back. If we got Lynch and resigned Green it be, Green, Lynch, Morence.
Terry Glenn and a # 2 for Moss and Lamont Jordan.
I'd be surprised if any team traded for him.. he will cost more than 9 million next season.. more likely to be picked up after the Raiders release him...
moss will end up a viking after all of this
MOSS TO THE PACKERS!!!! GIVE FAVRE ONE LAST PLAYOFF RUN!!! he deserves it. moss driver and jennings, sign tony gonzalez if hes a free agent and draft marshawn lynch and eric weddle...this team aint far from superbowl caliber again
Moss WILL be coming to the GBP and here is why.
Back in '98 when Moss was drafted, the GBP had a shot at #19 to get him and passed on it. Moss would have loved NOTHING more than to be the "go-to" guy for Favre and become the best WR to ever play the game - knocking Rice-A-Roni off the SF streetcar.
IMHO, GB SERIOUSLY messed up by passing on Moss and compounded the lunacy by drafting Vonnie Holliday instead - but GB has been plagued with 2 coaches in a row who couldn't find a skill player at the Pro Bowl.
Because GB passed on him, he was always ready to do the "I'll show you what you could have had" routine in GB - and I would do the same - no hard feelings.
Favre is coming back for a run at the ring(s) ala Elway and GB has just enough talent in the parity NFL to do it.
The starting lineup in '07 will include Koren Robinson, Donald Driver, Randy Gene Moss, and Ruvelle Martin, with Carlyle Holiday the #5 receiver.
Where does Jennings fit in all this?
He doesn't, and since "Hot Tub" Ferguson isn't enough incentive for Oakland, Jennings is going on the block.
(Wanna know a secret? Jennings ain't THAT good.)
Favre wants Moss. Moss wants Favre.
Suck it up GBP fans, the "moon shot" was something the GB fans can hardly claim "clean hands" on either, as Coach Dungy commented, they are noted for doing the same thing to opposing team buses as they roll into town.
GBP fans will have to "take one for the team", and after back to back SB rings, will be laughing and patting Moss on the back for his antics when he was a boy - before he grew up and got religion in St. Vincent's Church.
Moss will go to an NFC team and will go for what the raiders ask. His contract is in its last year and will be renegotiated by his new team. the raiders will not except a poor receiver like Mccarins or Lelie or Booker. those guys are way to easy to come by. Porter will be a Raider next season and the raiders will not draft another receiver.
Randy Moss may of been a bust in Oakland(but really look at Oakland, not much of a team)but one man can only do so much. I think Oakland should send Moss to New England, where 1. Tom Brady as QB 2. Belichek as Head Coach= Randy Moss SB42 Champion and Pro Bowler.
Moss to titans! Get rid of drew, wade, givins, calico and enter Moss with veteran Henry and those other 3 VYOUNG receivers and there you go.
Moss to any team would be solid but he is probably worse than T.O., but Raiders still should not draft Calvin Johnson. Lets look at this. I know they have Walter, Brooks is likely gone and so is Tuasisopo. I have a feeling that they can sign a better WR later and draft a WR in the second. Lane Kiffin would love a Steve Smith in the second round?
The Moss-Culpepper reunion would look good on paper, but as a dolphins fan im not sure if i want a wide reciever who complains his way out of every team. The fins would be better off getting a reciever in the first round.
the moss trade would be good for the pack because with already having a thousand yard receiver they would add another pro bowl caliber receiver to the team, and with jennings getting better and robinson coming back the packers will have the best wide receiver core in the nfl, plus dare i say it one of the beat teams in the nfl with the trade plus adding lynch and either greg olsen, zach miller or looking to free agency and pick up eric johnson an excellent tight end.
Moss Holmes & Ward The Steelers fans would welcome a big play wr like Moss The steel city would change attude.#6 Here we come
Seriously, how could any Packer fan not want Moss? He has his history, but look at the up side? If he's traded to us, Oakland still has to account for his Signing bonus, we could cut him at any time without any cap hit unless they resign him to a different contract... He would give Favre the deep man he has never truely had! Favre has carried the team for so long, why should he not deserve to go out on a contending team that is able to carry him? Moss is a stud, I hate him, but in a Packer uniform? That would make everyone better on the field. Moss has to be hungry for a good QB to throw to him since he hasn't had one in 2 years! His style (which isn't a great route running, he's just a big play player) will be slowing down soon, so he needs Favre too (or a good QB)! A win win situation. Most Packer fans will welcome him with arms wide open! Two words: Andre Rison. He is surely worth a 3rd Round draft pick and something else... Lets not kid ourselves, Oakland in their right mind will not take a 3rd and Turd Ferg... Maybe a 4th from next year too.
How about sending Moss to the Jets for a draft pick?? IOt would be nice to see Moss and Pennington reunite and get some of that Marshall chemistry back together.
If Ted Thompson is smart this will be the 2007 Packers roster.
QBs: Brett Favre, Aaron Rodgers, Ingle Martin
RBs: Ahman Green, Vernand Morency,
Noah Herron
FBs: William Henderson, Brandon Miree
WRs: Donald Driver, Randy Moss, Greg Jennings, Koren Robinson, Carlyle Holiday
TEs: Greg Olsen, Daniel Graham, David Martin
OTs: Chad Clifton, Mark Tauscher, Kevin Barry, Todd Steussie
LGs: Daryn Colledge, Tony Palmer
Cs: Scott Wells, Tyson Walter
RGs: Jason Spitz, Tony Moll
LEs: Aaron Kampman, Michael Montgomery
REs: Cullen Jenkins, Kabeer Gbaja-Biamila
DTs: Ryan Pickett, Corey Williams, Hollis Thomas, Johnny Jolly, Cullen Jenkins
SLBs: Brady Poppinga, Ben Taylor
MLBs: Nick Barnett, Abdul Hodge, Tracy White
WLBs: A.J. Hawk, Jason Hunter
CBs: Al Harris, Charles Woodson, Patrick Dendy, Tanard Jackson, Jarrett Bush
FSs: Nick Collins, Charlie Peprah
SSs: Michael Lewis, Eric Weddle
K: Dave Rayner
P: Jon Ryan
LS: Rob Davis
Tight end is a position that desperately needs upgraded. Greg Olsen would be a good use of a first round pick and is a good pass-catching tight end. Daniel Graham is a good blocker and could fill in for Bubba Franks. Bubba, Robert Ferguson, and a 3rd round pick would go to Oakland for Randy Moss. With a leader like Brett Favre, Randy Moss wouldn't try to start any crap. Todd Steussie is a good offensive lineman that can play any position except center. Hollis Thomas was a starter for the Saints this year and could be even more effective in a d-tackle rotation. Tanard Jackson was a good cornerback in college for Syracuse and would be worth a 4th round pick. Michael Lewis was a pro-bowler a year ago and a change of scenery could get him back on track. Eric Weddle could develop behind Michael Lewis. He was a hard hitter for Utah and a 2nd round pick could snare him.
I have never seen so many bad comments? Moss is still better than every 1st round receiver in the draft? Yes he lost hope in Oakland. And was treated like dirt by the Vikings. But getting Moss as a 2nd round is a great steal. A team like New England would profit greatly from this and should make a move if smart. They didn't want to pay Branch? But Branch is no Moss!
I would try and make a deal with Atlanta Moss and a 3rd rounder from us For Schaub, then use the 1st pick overall for Calvin Johnson
With Moss turning 30 yesterday and 2 horrible and lazy years in Oakland to go on top of a $9 million dollar cap number, a 3rd round with added players is asking way too much. Maybe a 5th rounder and a player but not with his past production and that cap number.
The Pats would never get that cancer in the lockeroom..Im a Raider fan , and want Moss gone, but the Pats organization doesnt put up with players like Mr. Moss. He will never get traded to another team in the AFC west either..cant deny his talent and we dont dont wanna have to play him twice a year.. I see him in GB or maybe even tampa.
if you reunite dante and moss it will just be drama culpepper already said NO
i say moss goes to mia, he will love the south beach lifestyle.
He will be ruinited with culpepper and learn to respect him because without him he is nothing.
no way the Raiders get a 3rd round choice for Moss, he's done. The Raiders shouldn't waste a number one on a QB especially Russell, whose receivers were always wide open. They would be better off getting a big arm like Carr cheap from the Texans and work on an offensive line and keeping that defense intact. Jordans numbers would improve with a better line and a QB that could stretch the field.
No way Buffalo would give up McGahee for Moss straight up let alone throw in more. McGahee is one of the best backs in the leaugue.
How about Moss to the Titans....The titans have a young and upcoming team...Have the veteran rcvrs like Drew bennett and the younger rcvrs good benefit from playing w/ their idol.
i think that the raiders should trade moss to the falcons for vick or schaub because brooks sucks. then they can draft calvin johnson and be good maybe.
im a raider fan for life, moss has been a cancer since he arrived,no matter who we get he will be no worse, lets stick with russell #1 pick,at least he will play 100 percent all the time, raider dave from salinas
i would send moss and the 2nd rounder to buffalo for mcgahee and a 1st rounder.
I dont care what the Raiders get, as long as Moss is shipped out ASAP. They cannot go through another season with that cancer.
moss will never go to miami....daunte and randy dont get along very well.....the vikings dont want him he got bounced for the attitude.....but the packers after last year believe they have a legitimate shot at the playoffs next year....which i think they will make if they make this moss deal....oakland will get next to nothing for him cause teams aren't stupid and they know that oakland will either cut him or dump him cheap if there aren't any takers....moss is aging and knows hes running out of shots for that ring....i think he might shape up with an football idol like favre throwing to him
Im a packers fan, and would be thrilled to have Moss in Green Bay. Everyone talks about how he isnt a motivated player and he has been only average. Duh, he plays for Oakland. Why should be the only one doing anything on the team? If everyone else can be just "average" why cant he.
Everyone knows he is a good player, now give him a chance.
