Patrick Willis runs a 4.37 40-yard dash

Linebacker Patrick Willis wowed scouts with a 4.37 40-yard dash during Mississippi's Pro Day. Willis, already a first round lock, could see his stock rise even further after this performance. He'll be given serious consideration by some teams in the top ten spots on draft day.

Everyone knows that the 40-yard dash times clocked during pro days always seem faster than the combine times, but this certainly may shake up the top 10. He wasn't even on the radar before this.

"He wasn't even on the radar before this"

Are you freakin' kidding me? This guy won the Butkus Award and SEC Defensive Player of the Year in the SEC. He is a beast and clearly the best linebacker on the draft board this year.

Willis has excelled his whole career at Ole Miss. He has all the physical tools, and he has been highly productive.

Not only that, by all accounts he's an extremely high character guy (check out his background and what he's overcome).

No doubt, he should be the first LB taken, and there's no way he'll last past Buffalo at #12, although he probably won't even last that long.

Realistically, he should be a top 5 pick, but the way this draft shakes out, there's not gonna be any LB picks that high....
