Jets host cornerbacks

Later this month the New York Jets will host Aaron Ross, Darrelle Revis, and Chris Houston at their training complex. The Jets have a need at cornerback and one of these players could be the Jets first round pick on draft day.

Darrelle Revis runs a 4.38 40

Darrelle Revis ran a 4.38 40-yard dash during Pitt's Pro Day. There had been some rumors floating around that Revis didn't have top end speed for a corner. He put those rumors to rest and has a shot to be the first corner back selected in April's draft.

Pitt's Revis to leave school for NFL draft

Pitt cornerback Darrelle Revis has decided to forgo his senior year and enter the NFL draft.

Revis is an excellent cover man with good size and quickness. He is arguably the top corner in the 2007 draft and a legitimate first round talent.

Darrelle Revis Expected to Go Pro

Pitt coach Dave Wannstedt said he met this week with junior cornerback Darrelle Revis, who is expected to forgo his senior season for the NFL Draft. Revis is a legitimate first round talent, and could become a very good cover man early in his NFL career. He has excellent quickness, and shows the ability to easily mirror receivers throughout their route. He also possesses good size, and is not afraid to mix it up in run support.
