I just heard on espn that alex smith and aaron rodgers will both have private workouts with the 49ers. They will either determine whether which will be their pick and franchise qb, or if they simply go with Braylon with the top pick. If u think about it, whether take a qb or not will have a huge effect throughout the rest of the top 10, with teams trading up to get mike williams or one of the qbs.

You are definately right. I know the Packers want one of those two QBs to be seasoned under Favre. So they don't have to take a QB later down the road and expect him to live up to Favre's legendary status as a rookie, when they can take one of these guys and let him learn from the man. All though I think A.Walter, A.McPherson and D.Greene would be great fits. If you have seen C.Fryes numbers in college they are not impressive and nobody heard about him being a standout at the combine.

first off Alex Smith is the last person you should compare to Brett Favre.

When this workout is held it will be outdoors and recievers will run at full speed big difference from Smith's pro day Blondie doesn't have a chance.

i think rodgers is a better qb i just hate the guy. he looks funny
