Well it's bowl season and the Shrine Game and the Senior Bowl are around the corner. There are some threads that have and will be popping up in the near future, so why not have one place where we can all talk about draft prospects?

I'll start the discussion: The first position I'm seriously looking at is wide receiver. Who do you guys like? Any interest in someone raw, like Tommy Streeter? Is Mohammad Sanu with our first rounder?

I'm pretty sure Sanu decided to go back for his senior year. I would say WR is still a very good possibility though.

I've seen a bunch of reports. I thought the most recent was that he was still undecided?

Could be so, I just thought I saw it posted on here somewhere that he decided to stay in school another year. Someone smarter than me will jump in here and let us know for sure soon

I hope after the off-season the following happens....

-New RG(even if it means moving Davis to RG and putting Boone at RT)
-Upgrade the CB position
-Big bodied red zone WR to go with Crabtree, Morgan, Williams
-Safety if Goldson bolts
-DO NOT let Larry Grant go anywhere.
-Another pass rush OLB

I think DirtyJersey9er said it all for me above. Smile

A defensive player from Mizzou? I like the way you think. Wink

Oops...I missed that all along. Did not see that.

But yes, Dirty Jersey was pretty spot on.

It would give us a very expensive OG, but he just struggles too much in space

-Upgrade the CB position
Someone with size is must since we play Fitz & Rice twice a year. Also a late rounder on Cliff Harris would be awesome

-Big bodied red zone WR to go with Crabtree, Morgan, Williams
I rather we got someone via FA, but Jeffery Alshon or Kendall Wright are options in the draft

-Safety if Goldson bolts
He is likely going to stay if we offer the same deal as last year

-DO NOT let Larry Grant go anywhere.

-Another pass rush OLB
Nick Perry can passrush, can he stand up is the question?

Really though I haven't nearly enough college ball this year to properly discuss anyone. =(

Odd. Normally the draft is on my mind now and off season predictions are in full force. Nice to have some more football ahead of us. Very Happy

McDonald is returning to USC. I'd love me some DeCastro though.

McDonald returning is why I wasn't shocked at the fact that Barkley was returning. He'd have prob declared if Barkley was.

I actually thought Kalil and Barkley were connected to the hip too, which is why Barkley staying was a bit of a shock to me.
