Boom.

But at the same time, that leaves out people who aren't defensive midfielders, but aren't attacking mids.

Quite the conundrum.
I guess you could do a 4-4-2 with Parker taking one of the CM spots and have the attacking midfielders being a poll with wingers.

True but then I feel like it'd be kind of a shoe in for the remaining four spots (Silva, Mata, Ba, Van Persie) Which makes me wonder if I should stop now since the back 4 was probably the hardest part to objectively pick for myself Razz

The only ones of those I'd say would be a definite shoe-in are RVP and Silva.
Ba is absolutely in IMO. He has been phenomenal and if anyone got in over him it would be an absolute travesty.

I think Mata and Bale for a winger spot would be a very close poll.

Indeed. I think I'd take Mata in that instance but it's very close. Bale to me is a one trick pony. He's a god at performing that trick, but Mata can play anywhere in the front four, and his passing is much more polished.

Why am I not surprised Laughing

Rolling Eyes

I'm not that biased. I had no problem voting for King, and if Parker is in contention for the second CM spot, I'll vote for him. But I truly believe Mata is the better player, and is more valuable to his team.

In no way is he the better player, but we should leave this for the actual thread where its going to be discussed.
