I thought it wouldn't matter at all, but it was weird watching some other dude playing Spartacus.
But I like how this season could be shaping up. Was I the only one thinking it was odd that Spartacus seemed like he didn't care when Varro's wife told him to leave her son alone.

He has to understand. Everywhere Spartacus goes people close to her and herself die.

I dont like the new guy. We were spoiled. I hope I can connect with this guy because (i dont know if this was due to the script) he seems like he cant act worth a lick

Either way, Crixus, Gannicus, Lucretia, Glaber, Ashur, Doctore, and Agron will easily keep me into it.
He wasn't Andy, but he wasn't terrible, at least IMO. It's going to be hard to replicate Andy anyway, his character was so deep.

He was alright. I think people need to give him time, and It's not the actors, but more the story I care about.
I don't think I'm allowed to share a good webside for watching TV shows, but If people want it I could probably pm it without getting a warning right?

I wasn't a fan of the first episode at all. Just wasn't the same with the new lead and I just had a hard time buying in. Whitfield looked the part and was very good in the role. Too early to tell on McIntyre but the early return for me wasn't good.
And ya, I don't know who's watching Lucy Lawless with all the other gals wandering around in this series...

Licinia is already dead, I think you mean Illithya (Glabers wife).
Anyways, Spartacus is my favorite show and I'm not sure if Liam is going to be close to Andy but I'm not giving up. The new episode was ok but nothing great. Hopefully it will get better.
Another thing I noticed almost all the guys names end with -us. Spartacus, Crixus, Gannicus, Claudius, Batiatus, Numerious, Solonius, Oenomaus, the list goes on. Also almost all the girls end with -a Lucretia, Illithya, Licinia, Naevia, Aurellia, Sura...
