Figured since the last thread was on 99 pages and the upcoming event this weekend would have pushed it over 100, why not make a new one?
Anyways, UFC 143 is on the horizon. _________________

Hopefully I get my Diaz UFC 143 walk-out T before I leave for Nashville on Friday. Wanna actually wear it for the fights.
Hoping Diaz wins just because GSP-Diaz is something the sport needs. _________________

I'm pulling for Nick, and expect him to get the W, but you just never know with Carlos Condit in the ring. _________________

I like Carlos Condit, but I love Nick Diaz.
I'll be pretty distraught if Diaz loses.
With that being said, I'm predicting a war. Diaz pulls off the W with something slick in the 4th or 5th round. Leaning toward 5th. _________________

| Diaz is a better striker (distance wise), better off his back, great cardio, great chin. I don't really see Carlos winning this unless he puts together an am zing game plan. |

Condit has been my guy since he won the WEC belt. Since the 3rd round of his fight with McDonald he's been on a tear. Really dislike Diaz as a person, but he's got some great skill with his iron chin, and boxing. Really tough fight to judge with both guys being well rounded on the feet and ground.
Hope Carlos pulls it out. _________________

In my opinion, Condit is a tougher matchup for Diaz than St Pierre would be because Condit's style is so aggressive. Diaz is a guy who likes dictating the pace of a fight, not having it dictated. Plus, Condit is a much better striker than St. Pierre, and comes with much more knockout power. I think this fight will be much closer than people think. _________________

Just got done watching the 143 pre-fight presser. Roy was laughing his *butt* off listening to the responses from Nick. _________________

actually totally opposite, if you look at everyone one of diaz's losses, almost all of them are to wrestlers who can grapple. _________________

Still can't believe the mistake Sakurai against him. Could have escaped the armbar attempt easily but spun the wrong way right into it. I think he was winning before that too. _________________
