This is my first year of fantasy bball so unlike football i'm not sure what to do. I'm in third place right now. This guy offered me Griffen for Marc Gasol straight up. When I look at the rankings Gasol is ranked way better in the top 10 while Griffen is ranked in the 200's which doesn't make any sense to me. But i noticed that Howard was ranked high as well so i'm wondering if its the free throws.

Should I accept this trade. Or should I offer Cousins instead. I'm thinking of not accepting it but i'm not sure if thats the right move. Also what can I trade Dirk for realistically he is sucking pretty bad this year?

My team is

John Wall
James Harden
Kobe Bryant
Andre Miller
Welsey Matthews
Paul George
Tayshaun Prince
Dirk Nowitzski
Chris Bosh
DeMarcus Cousins
Marc Gasol
Drew Gooden

It depends on the type of league.

@FlyLikeaJet, you could probably use another good big but other than that, it's a pretty good team.

Thanks man, any recomendations of a good one that can be found on the waiver wire

I wouldn't say you're in that big of a need for one but if someone offered you a trade with you getting a big in return, I'd probably accept it.

Its a standard 12 team league. There are 9 categories. Shooting % Free throw % total pts, most 3 pt shots, Steals, blocks, Rebounds, assist and turnovers (I always lose this one). If you win 6 out of 9 for the your record is 6-3.

Well, you'll lose scoring by losing Blake but Gasol helps your free throw percentage and you'll get more blocks with Gasol. Blake's a better rebounder but everything else is sort of a wash, I suppose. That's a tough one, I might take it, I might not, it depends on my mood that day! I'd probably take it.

Boozer for Al Jefferson a good trade?

Luol Deng is coming back(on my team) but All Jefferson is just coming off an injury so I'm not sure.

No. Al Jefferson does everything better than Boozer. Unless you're getting Jefferson, in which case, pull the trigger.

I just traded Paul Pierce for Danny Granger. Pierce has been great, but that's been with Rondo being hurt.

Now that he's back, I feel that Pierce won't be able to keep it up. That, and the fact that Danny takes 15-20 shots every night while still contributing in boards (somewhat) 3pts and steals.

Would you believe that my reasoning would justify me making that trade?

Unfortunately for you, I'm a Celtics fan so...

Nah, it's not a bad trade, I guess. I dont think Pierce was playing well because Rondo was out, I think he finally managed to get in shape but Pierce has these hot streaks now. I don't know, I probably wouldn't have made the trade, I think Pierce is a more efficient fantasy player but it's not a trade I'd lose sleep over. Granger is likely to give you a higher scoring output than Pierce but probably on a lower percentage. It's just tough with the Celtics, you never know how a game is going to go. I don't think the trade hurts you but I'm not sure it helps you all that much either. This post probably didn't help at all but it's 6am, give me a break!

I pulled the trigger and acquired Jefferson.

Yeah. Is there on news on other guys like Andrea Bargnani, Eric Gordon, Zach Randolph, etc? Bargnani is on my roster and the other two are FA.

Talking with another owner in my league. He offered me Dwight Howard for either Russel Westbrook or Kevin Martin

Should I do it, make a counter offer?

Again my team is

Ricky Rubio
Kevin Martin
Russel Westbrook
Shawn Marion
Al Harrington
Kevin Durant
Tim Duncan
John Wall
Mo Williams
Monta Ellis
Demarcus Cousins
Andrew Bynum
Ty Lawson

Do I reject this or open it on all the computers in my house and hit reject on each one?

I would have done it for Martin in a heart beat.

AI. I don't know Deng's stats off the top of my head but I know AI gives you everything consistently.

I do not understand why you are not enthusiastically accepting this trade.
