I tried to start this when the Hockey season was starting, but I have a feeling that baseball will be easier to start from.
The idea is pretty simple, we do a keeper league in all four major sports:
NFL - 4 keepers
MLB - 4 keepers
NBA - 4 keepers
NHL - 4 keepers
(initial breakdown idea for number of keepers).
I'd look to get 10 teams total (or 12 if there is interest) and we'd start with baseball with a draft in March.

If it is what is done in the past...you draft starters for the NFL and MLB, then full Hockey and Basketball teams. Either it will be EVERY player from EVERY spot put into ONE pool and you can draft whomever, whenever. Or you will have back to-back-to-back-to back drafts in some order where the drafts are the league.

We could do them all at once, but I was generally thinking that each league runs somewhat separately, so it would be the same 10 owners each doing one team per league. But now that I'm thinking about it, it would be cool to draft all at once and have one massive draft per year.

But then each league would be played, so we could have four winners for each league and an overall winner who has the highest average final positions in all the leagues.

It depends on who signs up, it will either be all on yahoo for the leagues or ESPN
