Doubt he's here long-term. Should help recruiting in the South though, with his roots in Mobile and Knoxville. Keary Colbert will take over eventually, when he's done with the NFL. _________________

Colbert did really well for the Chiefs last year despite what it says on the stat sheet, very reliable pass catcher on 3rd downs.
I don't know why we cut him, I like having USC guys on the team. _________________

I remember hearing that on ESPN Lane told the lady about a recruit before he faxed his LOI? Oregon self reported the same violation. Are you going to ore hope to get away with it? _________________

I read that Jesse Scroggins is having some academic issues, so his future with the program may be in doubt. I don't see why the coaching staff would be recruiting three of the elite quarterbacks in the '13 class unless they have some doubts about the current quarterbacks on the roster. I'm personally hoping Max Wittek wins the starting job, I think he has a chance to be our next special quarterback.
Kevin Graff has begun to make the transition to left tackle, which was expected when Matt Kalil declared for the draft.
One of my buddies, 2013 linebacker Anthony Saenz is currently being recruited by USC. He said he had a great time at the junior day, he's an animal. |

With Graff sliding over to left tackle, I'm assuming the offensive line will look like;
LT - Kevin Graff 6'6 300, Jr.
LG - Marcus Martin 6'3 340, So.
C - Khaled Holmes 6'4 300, Sr.
RG - John Martinez 6'2 290, Jr.
RT - Aundrey Walker 6'6 360, So. |

No idea, there'll be pictures sooner or later though. One thing's for sure, he wants that LT spot. _________________

| One position I'm kind of concerned about is defensive tackle. I'm assuming that George Uko and J.R. Tavai will be the starters with Antwaun Woods and Christian Heyward both getting a lot of reps but who else are we going to have? Will Leonard Williams or Greg Townsend Jr. rotate inside? |

Cody Temple is switching back to DT and Wes/Leonard can both slide inside on passing downs. _________________

George Farmer's been looking pretty good. So have Kessler and Wittek though no mention of Scroggins.... _________________

| Jesse Scroggins won't ever start at USC, and I don't think anyone honestly ever expected him too. I wouldn't be surprised to see him transfer after this season. Max Wittek is probably going to be the guy after Barkley, but Cody Kessler has the swagger of a USC quarterback. Also if we get someone like Max Browne, we could have a three horse race for the starting job next season. (Wittek, Kessler, Browne?) |

Is Nelson Agholor going to play running back for us next season? It seems like that'd be the best fit, especially with how thin we're going to be next year in the back field.
Last season at Berkley Prep;
212 carries, 1,983 yards (9.3 ypc), 28 touchdowns
10 receptions, 117 yards (11.7 ypc), 2 touchdowns |

Yeah good point about Scroggins. I'd just have an open competition and let the best guy start even if it's Browne ala Barkley.

I think we'll employ him primarily as a RB and mix it up like how Oregon did with DeAnthony Thomas. He could eventually become a Percy Harvin kinda guy. _________________
