| Persisted with a swiss cheese zone defense a lot of the time and was deservedly fired. |

Giants fans won't have much nice things to say about him because our defense stunk with him. However, I think a lot of it had to do with injuries and the players that had to play as a result. He's not as bad as most Giants fans make him out to be. _________________

Does he specialize in coaching a particular unit (DL/LB/DB)? In the zone defense, was it basically a Tampa 2 defense? |

You do know their offense turned the ball over 42 times that year, right? Finishing 13th in YPG dealing with that isn't all that bad. Don't forget the injuries they had that year. _________________

Da'Quan Bowers, DE/CB, used to combat the newly emerging "Super TE" threat. It could happen....... |

Get ready to see Clayborn and Bowers drop into coverage on 3rd and longs and get ready for plenty of soft zones, Bucs fans. Horrible hire.
Anyone remember Osi storming out of a preseason meeting before the start of the 2009 season after an argument with this fool? Guy is a clown and Osi knew it from Day 1, before any of us did. _________________

31 times,not 42 times
In 2009, in the last 11 games, the Giants have allowed 356 points!!
This is on average 32 points per game! _________________

| Sheridan was awful with the Giants. Not sure what Schiano sees in him |

To be fair to Sheridan, CC Brown and Michael Johnson were forced into starting roles for the Giants at safety. Not much a DC can do with that much suckish in your secondary. _________________

| If Coughlin thought he was a good coach he would have kept him on for another year. He realized he made a mistake when he promoted him from LB Coach |

He can rely on his elite pass rush to alleviate the secondary... alas Sheridan's ingenious plan was to drop those DE's into a soft zone coverage!
Good luck Buc fans. You have my sympathies. _________________
