Lots of things go into this. He should be paid more than some QB's (Kolb) but they are overpaid, he has a high winning percentage but he doesn't carry the team, he isn't a top 5 QB in the league, and yet the Ravens are going to have to pay him.

Yeah I myself do favor Flacco as an elite QB, but do you guys think he deserves to be paid like Drew Brees, Aaron Rodgers, and Phillip Rivers?

Hell no. He should get less than Rodgers and what Rodgers is making isn't as high as the other top QBs.

I for one seriously believe he doesn't deserve to be paid like the elite QBs. He hasn't earned it just yet.

Ben - 6/102m, 17m average
Vick - 5/80m, 16m average
Brady - 5/78m, 15.7m average
Eli - 7/107m, 15.2m average
Rivers - 7/98m, 14m average
Kolb - 5/63m, 12.6m average
Rodgers - 6/65m, 10.8m average
Cassel - 6/63m, 10.5m average
Fitzpatrick - 6/59m, 9.8m average
These are some of the top salaries in the league right now for QBs.
I'd imagine Flacco likely seeing a contract around 6 years, 80m which would average him roughly 13.3m a year. Possibly a bit higher like 86m if they build in a lot of incentives such as winning a SB, SB MVP, Pro-Bowl, All-Pro, etc. But I see him being paid more than Kolb but less than Rivers on an average basis.
