I always thought that Edwards had it in him to become a quality QB with proper coaching. His mechanics and arm strength are solid. Footwork and decision making need work.
I doubt that he'll get that in Philly, though.

Andy Reid has gotten a lot out of some pretty mediocre QB's throughout his career. |

Edwards will be TC competition for "Money" Mike Kafka and the other FA/draft pick QB we bring in during this offseason. He is not guaranteed a spot in any way on the Eagles' 2012 roster.

Actually pretty happy with this signing. Gives us a legitimate backup QB that we don't waste $5M to play like absolute garbage.
