I doubt that he'll get that in Philly, though.

Andy Reid has gotten a lot out of some pretty mediocre QB's throughout his career.

Brett Favre?

http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/5855/mike-kafka

Quote:
Mike Kafka will reportedly enter training camp as the Eagles' No. 2 quarterback with Trent Edwards third on the depth chart.

Quote:
It's a nod toward Kafka's two years of experience in Andy Reid's offense. We're still not convinced the Eagles are done shopping at quarterback

Eh, okay ?

Not super-relevant, IMO. Trent Edwards kind of sucks. Won't even beat out Kafka to be the backup I think. If Vince Young is retained, he's #4 on the depth chart... probably cut during training camp.

Trent Edwards is a superstar

I can't believe all the Edwards backlash, must be sour grapes because he makes all your defenses weak at the knees

Quick Miami, give up a 2nd round pick for Edwards. He could be your franchise guy. Laughing

Lets not forget when he got Favre he was a little used backup in Atlanta.

Also, AJ Feeley and Kevin Kolb netted us 2nd rounders under Reid, Donovan McNabb was a perrenial pro bowler under him and sucked elsewhere, Michael Vick has become a much better passer under Reid than he was in ATL. I hate Reid but the one thing he is is an elite QB coach.

I think he is an overrated QB coach, he has never truly developed anyone. He just runs a scheme that can make bad qbs look like average ones.

If Andy Reid was a really good QB coach why have we been without a franchise qb his whole tenure?

Like the signing for Philly. Edwards could find his niche as a backup QB.

Injury prone starting QB?

But Kafka is the #3 broski.

I guess what your saying is, since your starting QB is injury prone, you guys look to the #3 because #2 Vince Young sucks...rightt?
