Well as well all have seen by now, is that the SEC is dominating the college football world, and even had both participants in the National Championship last season.
For 2012, does the SEC carry on the 6 year streak or does a team from another conference win it all?

Yeah, right now SEC owns college football, ESPN is spot on.

I like Georgia right now. A ton of talent on defense. I think the best QB in the conference. IDK if Keith Marshall is going to get a lot of touches as a true freshman, but he is a good one. And Crowell has all the talent in the world. He could start living up to it.
So SEC to make it seven.

Yeah, right now SEC owns college football, ESPN is spot on.
I do think they operate under different rules down there but it is what it is. |
6 years ago has nothing to do with SEC is dominating the college football world right now.
Last year they had 3 great teams, and a bunch of underachievers. The Big12 was the better conference last year.

Yeah, unfortunately the SEC was the best conference last year, just like all the past 5 years before it.

i see USC playing for the title...
returning like 17starters and IMO the best QB in the nation and one of the best QB/WR combos in Barkley and Woods

So 11-2 South Carolina and 10-4 UGA weren't good teams? And you're really going to claim because the Big 12 was at a similar level to the SEC last year that somehow changes the fact that the SEC has consistently been the best conference for the 5 years before that? Sure, 6 years ago might not be that relevant, but how are the 2009 and 2010 seasons not relevant? |

Eh, forgive me. I am probably using hyperbole but seriously, the god like treatment that the SEC gets is a viscous cycle that has compounded upon itself, and really is undeserved.
