You never seen The League, I see. It's a hilarious comedy about 5 guys, who play in their own fantasy football league. And that freakout in the video was made by one of the characters, Kevin, who never wins even though he is the Commissioner. One of the guys is almost retarded, the other one is weird, creepy, and pedophil-ish-looking, and the other is a dastardly attorney with a sexy hot wife.

Oh, and Kevin goes to his wife for help on fantasy football strategy. You need to check it out on Netflix Instant or 1channel or whatever you use.

I will confirm the awesomeness of this show. Between The League and Its Always Sunny theyre doing pretty well.

Going through the thread these are the names of posters interesting thus far. I think severall posters are confussed or scared off by the amount of players even though FleaFlicker will do all the calculating after the draft. I'd do much like the Varisty,JV,freshman leagues do. Take names ,put 10 in each league , see what you have entry wise and go from there. If it ends up being 2 Leagues of 12 or 3 leagues of 10 depends on who/how many sign up. We then can bump this thread back up when Fantasy Football Leagues begin.

This is separate from the other standard FF that Ian and Blah fight over.

This will be a new league.....

Been working some numbers.

This is how the offensive players from last season would have worked out.

Name Posiition Total Points
Drew Brees QB 6404
Tom Brady QB 6157
Matthew Stafford QB 5833
Eil Manning QB 5411
Aaron Rodgers QB 6019
Ryan Fitzpatrick QB 4812
Colt McCoy QB 3630
Matt Cassel QB 2166
0
Maurice Jones-Drew RB 6290
Ray Rice RB 6808
Michael Turner RB 4751
LeSean McCoy RB 5315.5
Arian Foster RB 6018.5
Rashard Mendenhall RB 3447
Ryan Grant RB 2668

Calvin Johnson WR 6202.5
Wes Welker WR 5879.5
Victor Cruz WR 5573
Larry Fitzgerald WR 5114.5
Steve Smith WR 5204
Aaron Hernandez TE 3481
Rob Gronkowski TE 4944.5
Jeremy Maclin WR 3130.5
Jared Cook TE 2737.5

The bottom 2 in each are to work out how much difference there is between the top and bottom.

Anyone got any players they'd like me to run through the system?

Is it your basic fantasy point system?

EDIT: Emphasis on splash plays? Is the point system already configured?

Splash play? You mean big plays?

At the moment I don't have big plays configured, I can, but the problem is then I'll need a data source that has all the information from last year so I can work it out.

And for defensive players, the scores would come out as follows.

Name Position Points
London Fletcher LB 5805
D'Qwell Jackson LB 5755
Chad Greenway LB 4645
Pat Angerer LB 4840
Curtis Lofton LB 5435

Jared Allen DE 5590
DeMarcus Ware LB 3935
Jason Babin DE 3200
Jason Pierre-Paul DE 4525
Aldon Smith LB 3030

Kyle Arrington DB 4830
Eric Weddle DB 4500
Charles Woodson DB 5085
Brandon Browner DB 4455
Dashon Goldson DB 3825

That gives a very slight edge to offensive players.....

How do people think those stats line up?
