Hope he recovered from the injury and can adapt to playing in the wide 9.
I always liked Dixon. _________________

I'd be interested to hear your opinions regarding Dixon since he arrived in Philly and whether you think he has a long-term future on the team. At the time, I was hoping the Skins would hang onto him. _________________

Before his injury last season, I thought he would get a long-term deal. He is a very good short-yardage dtackle and is surprisingly good at getting to the quarterback. I would start him over Patterson but he will get plenty of playing time this season. _________________

He was a solid player in our old system, not a stud mind you, but solid with flashes of great play. But the injury and moving to a system that doesnt fit him as well...I can see why its only a one year deal. But he's a good depth guy to have regardless. _________________

You would start a guy that has been hurt the last two seasons over a guy that had a very good year last season? Stop it. Dixon is, at best, a nice rotational player right now. He may get better, may. _________________

Dixon needs to show he can play in the wide 9 as he 'made his name' in our old scheme _________________

Short yardage DT right now in the wide-9. _________________

Can't imagine it's for much more than 750 k. I think that's the minimum for 3-4 year players. _________________

I think he signed the 2nd round tender, meaning he got ~ $1.92 Million for 2012. _________________

Which means we saved some cap by signing him. So we just got +5 million basically from trading Justice and signing Dixon. _________________ Meow |
