Seahawks free agent LB David Hawthorne and Broncos free agent LB Joe Mays are scheduled to visit with the Saints this weekend, a source familiar with the situation told CBSSports.com.

Both are two down linebackers but Hawthorne is considered to be one of the best LBs in the league and recorded over 100 tackles each of the past 3 seasons along with 6 sacks and 7 INTs.

Hawthorne could be a huge signing by the Saints if they chose to part ways with Jonathan Vilma who might be suspended by the league.

Pull a Buffalo and kidnap Hawthorne until he signs a contract!

Don't let him leave without a deal!

Signing Grubbs & Hawthorne would help get the sour taste out of our mouths...

Maybe I should start singing the hey Micky song??? Think

Agreed... get rid of Vilma and Shanle, put these two in and let Spags do what he does best. This way you fulfill the LB concerns and save draft for other areas (like DT/DE and SS) and depth.

I haven't heard too many positives on Mays. I would rather resign Dunbar

Yeah I like both of them and would maybe prefer Dunbar as he knows the organisation. But I would more like to see Hawthorne playing at WLB, so we would need to bring in Dunbar, Mays or maybe even Tulloch if we can free up enough cap.

Anyone knows how our cap situation looks like right now with Colston and Grubbs?

Rumor has it Tulloch wants close to 10m. While I'd love to see him in black and gold, I just don't see that happening with that kind of contract.
