He may not have been worth much in the old scheme, but with Mudd he may be a good fit as depth. People always jump the gun and never look at the whole story... |
After we cut Jamaal everyone was complaining about depth and only having 5 OL signed, so we sign a guy that can backup 3 spots and it is awful. |
Now that I think about it, was he even cut or did Seattle sign him off the practice squad? |
Signed off our practice squad. So it is someone that eagles have always liked. _________________

Roll your eyes, scoff, do whatever, this was a necessary signing for depth. We aren't going to add an all-pro to be a back-up guys. _________________

Finally, Spadaro says something good. |
I hope its true |
Well they aren't going to say he's come in to start even if it is true, it gives no leverage in other negotiations.
The only negative I can see is that he does have to learn a new scheme, he was signed off our PS when Juan was still the O-Line coach. _________________

I liked Gibson a lot coming out of college, he has a mean streak and pretty quick light feet to go up and go hit some one at the second level. I think Mudd could groom him up a bit to be a solid rotational guy on the line at multiple positions.
A lot of guys get hurt up over the year, do you really wanna play the Giants late in the season with no depth on the o line? nope.
Can we go get some linebackers tho!!!!!!! _________________
