That's actually not how it works. Orton salary is 900k. Got a signing bonus of 5m. His hit is 1.9.....

I had read it was the whole thing, my mistake, ok so 2.5 million then with 900k and 5mill split over 3 years.
20 mill on the QBs.

I don't think that's even the biggest issue.
If they were to sue, it would prove that the NFL owners were in collusion while the locked out was happening.......all hell will then break loose.

Not necessarily...it's not as "open and shut" like the bloggers have reported; it's all very technical and arguable...and even if it was decided it was collusion, NLFPA couldn't do anything about it now as they have no right to a claim as they gave up all future legal claims in a bargained-for settlement agreement for the new CBA. All that would do is give them future ammo for the next CBA negotiations, and that wouldn't necessarily prove anything in a prima facie way, i.e. not establishing some pattern of collusion on the NFL's part; it would just be evidence of a one-time occurrence.
But yeah, smart move would be to take it. |

Rex Grossman is RG3's mentor and backup...I kinda feel bad for the kid, pretty bad receiving corps (Garcon and Morgan aren't special despite their salary), pretty bad OL, no picks or cap to build or add more, he's gonna have to put the team on his back.
