If you are referring to me I didn't quote anyone. My post was in response to 1King and I sure he can speak for himself. Actually, the more I read your post the more I think you and 1King might be the same person.

Laughing

Me and him disagree probably as much or more than anyone here, in the CFB forum, the Lions forum, and the basketball forum.

You did quote me (wrong), on the previous page.

Dont you know. We argue between ourselves.... Rolling Eyes

Wow, this class is insane.

14/16 in the Scout 300
-3 5*
-11 4*
-2 3*

10/16 in the Top 247
-12 4*

12/16 in Rivals Top 200
-12 4*

12/16 in ESPN150 Watchlist

This will probably be the best Michigan class ever.

It will be interesting to see/watch these rankings flutcuate during the year.

My biggest question now is whether or not DeVeon Smith and Wyatt Shallman are enough to scare away Ty Issac. Or does this staff think Smith is good enough to replace Isaac?

Isaac won't be scared off, he doesn't care if a school has other RB's committed. The coaches will still take Isaac if he wants in.

In other recruiting news, PA TE Scott Orndoff who visited Michigan this weekend and was the likeliest option for 3rd TE in this class, has committed to Pitt. We may not take a 3rd TE now.

That is what I was hoping to hear.

I'd rather see an extra DL (Interior), than a TE anyway. Orndorff going to Pitt could be a blessing in disguise.

We have 7-8 spots left, this is how I see it going down:

1 DB
3 DL
2 LB
1-2 WR (If Issac comes we'll only take one more IMO)

We want 3 total WR per one of the WR recruits and Shane Morris.

I'd say:

2 WR
2 LB (or if Levenberry goes somewhere else, only 1)
2 DL

2 BPA - Ideally (at least for me) Isaac and either the best DL or DB.

QB: None

RB: Isaac or none

FB: None

TE: None, unless someone shows up on the radar later on.

OL: None, unless we have a spot open late.

WR: The biggest question as to who, pretty much all the WR targets seem to want to take their time (i.e. Treadwell, Massington, North, Daniels, Lemay, et al)

DL: The second biggest question mark as to who, as most of them are farther away and/or have yet to visit. Poggi is visiting for the 3rd time this weekend is probably the best shot right now. Crayton has visited and likes us, but will be a tough pull. Webb (and possibly Drennon) are visiting for the Spring Game. Mathis will officially visit, but probably ends up at USC. Vanderdoes probably ends up at Oregon.

LB: Gedeon and Levenberry

DB: Cravens likely ends up at USC, Fuller at VT. That leaves other solid/good prospects, but not elite ones like Butler, Bell, etc.

Perfect, yet realistic, finish for me:

(1) RB: Isaac
(2) WR: Treadwell and Massington
(2) LB: Gedeon and Levenberry
(2) DL: Poggi and Webb

If we get to 24, then I'd add a DL or DB, though I'd still consider an OL if Pocic/McGovern are still undecided.

I could not agree more.

This looks about right to me. I don't want another DB unless it's an elite prospect. Hopefully, Fuller wil surprise us and follow Countess. You never know, the way this class is shaping up anybody might commit.

Someone started a thread about all-time college teams for your favorite school and it got me looking into some of the past great players in Michigan's history. I had totally forgot about Marquise Walker and how that guy caught everything!

Who would you put on the team? I am still thinking about it.

Loved Marquise Walker and Tai Streets.

I saw the thread, too tough for me to eliminate guys.

QB: Henne, Harbuagh, Griese, Brady, Henson, Grbac, etc.
RB: A-Train, Hart, Perry, Timmy B., Hoard, Wheatley, etc.
FB: Askew, Shea, Dudley
WR: Edwards, Manningham, Avant, Breaston, Walker, Terrell, Knight, Streets, Howard, Carter, Alexander, etc.

And those are just the skill guys. Laughing

I am a tad young (21) became a fan when I was little. So essentially I havent seen the amount of players like you guys have, but here are my faves

QB: Chad Henne
RB: Chris Perry and Mike Hart
WR: Braylon Edwards, Jason Avant, Steve Breaston (have all three of their jerseys)

All time though my favorites are Jake Long, Braylon, and Llamar Woodley

I hated Breaston at Michigan. He was always nicked up and was never the receiving threat he was supposed to be. Was always solid on ST when he was healthy though.
