BY THE WAY ....

Remember the "special offer" I made regarding the International game? I'm planning another "Special news report". I will not yet reveal what you will have to give up, but like the last one it will be worth 1 extra Keeper tag for Season 4. Is this keeper tag worth the risk? If you think so, apply by replying here. I'll roll a die and announce what this "Special news report" is at the end of the day, Monday.

This will be a raffle. Anyone who is interested applies, except Toronto since they already earned one this season.

Applied Owners:
Seattle Seahawks
Harlem Notrotters
Baltimore Ravens
East Carolina Pirates

I would like to put Erik Pears and Casey Weigman on the practice squad.

I'm gonna put Kraig Urbik at Center and Chad Rinehart at RT.

Gonna see if I get some more success.

NSFL Special News Report

Football is a naturally violent sport, but sometimes dirty players use this as an excuse to intentionally hurt others. Such was the case with hot-head Ndamukong Suh, who sparked controversy with his incident while playing the Erie Admirals in Week 7. Frustrated by being constantly blocked by Admirals OG Davin Joseph, Suh unleashed his anger by curb-stomping Joseph. But it didn't stop there. Suh borrowed a chainsaw from a rouge Pirates fan in the audience, and proceeded to mercilessly hack and slash Joseph with it, like a true (modern) pirate. After that, Suh preceded to kick the thought-to-be corpse of Joseph until the shocked officials could restrain him.

Joseph luckily got up a few seconds later, unhurt, but the incident could've caused serious injury to the player. After the game, reporters flogged Suh with questions about the incident, to which he denied ever intending to hurt Joseph.

"I was just trying to get out of a bad situation," Suh said, "Joseph was pushing me around, so I was just trying to get out of there to stop a bad situation."

When asked about the chainsaw, Suh responded, "That's the only way I could think of to get out of that situation."

Recently resurrected zombie Roger Goodell announced a $3 trillion dollar fine and a nasty 4-game suspension for the troubled Defensive tackle, just before the zombie was exterminated by a Inquisitor that looked strangely like James Harrison. Still, the 4-game suspension of Suh will surely hurt the 3-4 Pirates' chances of making the post-season. The NSFL saw it fit to refund a bit of Suh's salary to the organization, saving them 1 Keeper Tag next season.

We are filing a motion to appeal this process. Neither Ndamukong Suh nor the East Carolina Pirates have been contacted in this process.

We believe that the entire event was a case of mistaken footage, and while Suh is a rough player, he shouldn't be punished so harshly for his first offense Very Happy

We had so many chances and Schaub had a great game with 70% completions and 300 yards, but missed key opportunities with 3 picks. Especially a game ending one on the opponents 35

TOs are killin' us. Confused

Zombie Roger Goodell announces a reduction of the suspension given to Suh from four games to three, due to the lack of injury to Joseph. Suh promises to attend anger management classes, and to not perform an action like this again. However, with this reduction, if Suh ever has another incident like this again, the next suspension will be worse.
