He's probably doing the smart thing and waiting for the market to die down a little and see his ideal landing spot.

Yeah, but it's going down pretty quickly... Once Manning and Alex Smith sign, there won't be many starting spots available...

Yea, and no one is going to choose Garrard to start over Manning and Smith. Meaning the only teams that will call for his services until those two are signed are teams that want him as a backup. If he waits until they sign, he may find out that San Fran suddenly has a vacancy at QB and he can compete to starter with Kaepernick.

That's a scenario that has 49ers fans shacking!
I mean, loosing both Smith and Manning... after spending so much on their receiving core... that would be hard to swallow.
