Stanton signed with the Jets as a free-agent recently but after the Jets made the move to trade a 4th and 6th for former Broncos QB Tim Tebow he asked to be traded as he was originally told the team will not bring any more QBs during the off-season.

Stanton passed for 5 TDs and 9 INT's during his 4-year career with the Lions.

Why?? You probably just got him for free. Not that bad of a chance the guy you woulda drafted in the 6th will fall to where you traded back to in the 7th.

And if not, boohoo, you miss out on one longshot for another longshot.

Not a bad pickup, like to get a more veteran guy for a backup QB though.
