Doesn't it make Newhouse a more adequate player if we switch him with Bulaga? I can't think of anyone getting past Bulaga on the right side. I'd like to see him on the left. Newhouse wouldn't have to face the elite rushers that he had some trouble with and he's a mauler in the run game.

Rob Demovsky ‏ @RobDemovsky
Free-agent defensive end Dave Tollefson is scheduled to visit the #Packers on Thursday and Friday, according to a source.

Honestly don't know how he would fit on our D.

agreed he's a pass rushing end but he's coming from a 4-3. could he play the DE position, you never know till you try but i don't see it working. if he is able to play in our D then Kampy probably could have as well.

I am assuming (I could be wrong) that they plan to use him as dline similar to Jenkins rather then as an OLB like Kampman.

Jason Wilde ‏ @jasonjwilde
By the way, the #Packers aren't pursuing OLB Manny Lawson, and never were in the mix, according to an NFL source.

Doesn't really matter what your height/weight is, if you can rush the passer Capers will find a niche for you. People get WAY to caught up in the size thing when it tends to be much simpler. Tollefson isn't a pro typical 34 lineman but we aren't in a 34 very much to begin with. My opinion, if we sign him he'll play both outside and inside on the d-line in our nickel defense which we are in a ton.

Crying or Very sad

Oh well, I love what TT has done so far. Get an OLB in the first two rounds and color me satisfied.

Good, why sign Brad Jones when you have Brad Jones on the team.

Man, what's going on with Hargrove. I've never seen a player tweet they signed with a team and then had it take over 3 days for the news to become official... Hope we signed him. Would be a great get not only for the D but the locker room too.

TT is probably waiting to see if he's suspended.

Manny Lawson is 3x as good as Brad Jones is.

Don't see it, when Brad is healthy, he is the same type of player as Lawson, probably even a better pass rusher. Lawson is your definition of average, he's just getting hyped up cause he plays OLB and is a FA.

A few of the posters around here would beg to differ on the above bolded. I specifically remember Palmy and a few others wondering what Hargrove's weight was currently. He was a happy camper to find out that he's around 285 at the moment. (See Hargrove thread)
