That's a scary thought.
I like your idea with Walker.

We are flexing for our SuperBowl run this year. We may end up needing a strong backup ILB to play a game or so for Willis or Bowman. I have zero problems with keeping Grant to ourselves. Not much reason to weaken our team if the value we get in return is... mediocre. |
I agree. No reason to dump him for low value. _________________

I don't know about others, but I would only trade him for a first or high second. There's no point in weakening our receiving corp if we're not going to find an immediate contributor to replace him. I'd rather keep Crabtree, and if we're really not pleased with him, then we can still trade him for a low 2nd/high 3rd next year, if he has underwhelmed.
But honestly, in a revamped and fully implemented offense, I believe Crabtree will surprise a lot of people this year. _________________

I agree. Hr played great last year after he was finally healthy, and with a couple true NFL receivers around him to take attention away, I'm expecting big things from Crabtree this year.
I would want a 1st for him.. Even then :S _________________

Is there a scenario in which anyone would want to move up in the first at all? _________________

2 to 5 spots, at most, to get a guy we really want, if all others are gone. For example, if Fleener and Glenn are gone, and we'd really love Konz, trading up for him would be a no-brainer. _________________

That's basically what I was thinking.. Have 3-4 targets, make a move if there's just one left who may not fall..
How comfortable can we be with Kilgore at RG? I for one would be fine with waiting until round 3 to address the position, given the praise Kilgore has been getting from the staff and the deep group of interior OL that will be going off the board around there.
Seems as if we are keeping Haralson, at least through camp.. I think we definitely need to add another pas rusher or two, along with another safety and corner..
oh, and there is no 54 man roster limit, so we can keep about everyone and add a "camp battle" section under the dc. _________________

We still have the :
Staley -- Iupati -- Goodwin -- Davis -- Boone
scenario to fall back on, if the draft stars don't align for an OG.
Not a fan of that Friday night 2nd round time schedule. They will have to reschedule that time slot to accommodate my drinking night.
Trading up is tough to consider until I see the picks starting to come off the board. I agree that if we did? It shouldn't be to move very far. _________________
