1. G David DeCastro, Stanford - 6'5 314lbs
I expect Mike Brown to get his walker and sprint the pick to the podium if DDC is here at 17. He brings our line from good to great, and erases this so called "battle" for the RG position.

1. DT Michael Brockers, LSU - 6'5 322lbs
This is more of a BPA. Brockers isn't an immediate impact DT in my opinion, but he's the every-down space eating defensive tackle that we need. With some coaching, Brockers has the potential to add an array of pass-rush moves, and improve his run stopping. I still believe Brockers could bulk up to 330lbs without losing too much speed.

2. RB Lamar Miller, Miami - 5'11 212lbs
An explosive kid that's still only 21 years old. Would add another dimension to our run game, and could really open things up in the pass game. BJGE is still our clear starter, but Miller would be able to split carries, and add that big-play potential.

3. WR Brian Quick, Appalachian State - 6'4 220lbs
Deep class for recievers, one will fall. Big-bodied receiver with reliable hands. Should become an immediate red-zone threat for Dalton, and develop into a solid #2.

4. CB Ron Brooks, LSU - 5'10 190lbs
The first surprise pick of the draft. Brooks is an exceptional athlete, with a 4.37 forty, and 38 inch vertical, he comes loaded with potential. I expect him to be groomed as a future CB, and an immediate special teams ace.

5. C/G Philip Blake, Baylor - 6'3 320lbs
Probably the best linemen on the Heisman winners offensive line, Blake could immediate provide depth at the center and guard positions. I expect him to be the eventual replacement for Cook in the middle.

5. WR TJ Graham, North Carolina State - 6'0 180bs
One of my sleepers in this draft because of his incredible speed, Graham could provide us with another deep threat for Dalton. Runs a 4.39, and reminds me a lot of Desean Jackson.

5. LB Vontaze Burfict, Arizona State - 6'1 248lbs
Marvin was allegedly in attendance to Burficts pro day, and I suspect he's eyeing him as a late-rounder. Say what you want, but Burfict has the talent to be a very good linebacker. I don't consider his entire junior season of tape to be a fluke, and I'm sure Marvin doesn't either.

6. DE Donte Paige-Moss, North Carolina - 6'3 268lbs
A guy who could surprise at the next level, Paige-Moss has the athleticism to have a better pro career than his college career. Another high reward player with a late round pick that probably won't mean anything anyways.

Really like this draft. I just don't like Quick to be our opening day #2

Wow man. One of the better mocks I've seen posted here. Although i don't think Brian Quick or Phillip Blake will be at those spots.

This draft is super boom or bust too. Guys like Quick, Paige-moss, Burfict and Brockers are all raw and potential. This draft minus DeCastro could all be off the team in 3 years

In my latest 7 rd mock I ended up with this for the Bengals:

1a. Michael Floyd, WR, Notre Dame
1b. Stephon Gilmore, CB, South Carolina
2. Brandon Thompson, DT, Clemson
3. Demario Davis, OLB, Arkansas State
4. Brandon Brooks, G, Miami (OH)
5a. Janzen Jackson, FS, McNeese State
5b. Isaiah Pead, RB, Cincinnati
5c. Vontaze Burfict, MLB, Virginia
6. Cory Harkey, TE, UCLA

Floyd won't fall to 17 either. But I like this draft

Pead will fall. People won't be looking at him as a RB, he's very slight for the NFL, he will be looked at purely as a return man.

Floyd I can see falling.

Colts: Luck
Redskins: RG3
Vikes: Kalil
Browns: Richardson
Bucs: Claiborne
Rams: Blackmon
Jags: Coples (first spot Floyd can fall past)
Dolphins: Tannehill
Panthers: Cox
Bills: Reiff (Second spot Floyd falls past, OT is a much bigger need than WR)
Cheifs: Decastro
Seahawks: Kuechly
Cards: Ingram
Cowboys: Brockers
Eagles: Poe/Brockers/Still (I think they are going whomever they like best at DT here, third fall spot)
Jets: Upshaw (OLB is their biggest need imo, that defense took a huge step back last year because they weren't getting a consistent pass rush)
Bengals: Floyd

I see Coples taking a Dunlap-esque slide at this point. I think he may end up in the late first, but I definitely think Jacksonville takes a WR with their fist rounder no matter what. If they want Gabbert to have any chance, or their next QBOTF (Gabbert sucks), then they have to have WRs that can help him out.

I sort of see this happening as well. With this class deep at WR, a lot of teams will be willing to wait until day 2 to start grabbing the WRs. I like the first version with Lamar Miller in the second, DDC and Brockers in the first, though I would be surprised if we waited that long for a CB.

And Duke, what happened to harris in your mock?

To the OP:

Not a fan of Brockers. Take a CB there, a DT in 4, and get rid of Burfict and I would like it a LOT more.

Cliff Harris? I don't think he gets drafted anymore. A small 4.7 CB with a drug problem so bad he was thrown off his college team and he barely even prepared for the combine? He'll be an UDFA with a smaaaaaaaal bonus if any.

Kind of love the OP's mock. Addressing the O-Line and D-Line is never a bad thing.

Could do without Burfict and Page-Moss though. Taking a risk on one is fine, but not sure about both. We traded away Rivers for a 5th, because talent but limited instincts at the LB position doesn't usually pan out...

1A- Love it, don't see him falling here though. Has to be the pick if he's there.
1B- Don't like it. Would rather have a CB, Barron, DE, or a WR.
2- Okay with it. I don't think RB is a big of a need as others though.
3- Not crazy about it. Seems like Jerome Simpson v2.0.. would like to see someone who can have a more immediate impact.
4- Seems like a project. Not crazy about it.
5A- Okay with it.
5B- Like it
5C- Like it
6- Like it
