Wouldn't shock me at all, but if we do, I hope we do it for another pick next year. Try to get a 2nd or 1st in 2013, I don't think we have enough roster room to use 10 draft picks this year.
Unless we go through a scenario I like of trading up using our 2nd rd pick to get Decasteo, and then recoup a 2nd trading down from 21. Perhaps if the Patriots are looking to move up from 31, we can get their pick #16 in rd 2 this year.
17
53
156
to Buffalo for #10 and take DDC
21
166
to New England for #31, #48, and #126
End up with Decastro, Hill/Jeffrey, move up 5 spots in rd 2, move up 22 spots from our pick in rd 5 to the end of rd 4 and lose one of our late 5ths.

I would love that..Absolute dream scenario...Two Words:
Mike Brown. |
Why'd you have to go and crush my dreams with reality
Now i'm back to us worrying about taking Burfict and Cliff Harris at 17 and 21. _________________

In the latest McShay mock he has us taking Decastro at 17 and Wright at 21. Gilmore and Kirkpatrick go 19-20, Barron 15. _________________

| DeCastro at 17 would be great but I don't want Wright at 21. |

I'd prefer Hill from GT to be honest. Higher upside IMO. |

He didn't come to Cincy to visit with the Bengals; he swung by 'rome's place to get a couple of keys of ganga....... _________________ " I imagine that in Paul McCartneys' house, he must have a shelf with the 12+ great 'Beatles' studio albums neatly stacked. Absolutely agree with this.
I'm just an amateur Joe like anyone here; but from looking at the plays I've seen, Stephen Hill is the best WR in this draft class bar nobody. Randy Moss 2.o without the baggage, and he can and does run block. A 6-4'' guy with 4.28 speed, yes please. Another quiet locker-room leader type guy like AJ.
I would happily take Hill @ #17. The thought of Green and Hill lining up Sundays sends shivers down my spine. _________________ " I imagine that in Paul McCartneys' house, he must have a shelf with the 12+ great 'Beatles' studio albums neatly stacked. I wouldnt go with Hill at 17. The only receiver i would take at 17 is Floyd _________________

| Quote: | SI's Tony Pauline has heard that the Bengals "will" use one of their first-round picks on Alabama DE/OLB Courtney Upshaw.
The Bengals' interest in Upshaw has been known for months, although they may not necessarily be so locked in if players like Notre Dame's Michael Floyd, North Carolina's Quinton Coples, and Alabama's Dre Kirkpatrick start falling. What is clear is Cincinnati has a first-round grade on Upshaw, whereas many teams are less high on him. He's a realistic possibility at 17 or 21. Apr 24 - 10:44 PM

I like Upshaw but not so much for the Bengals. I feel he is best suited for 3-4 OLB. Would be interesting to see how Marvin would use him. Finally would have his Boulware type defensive player. |

I don't like it. I don't think he fits. He is a LB, not a DE. I just don't like it if it's true _________________

Unless we're switching to a 3-4, which wouldn't make sense unless we don't think Dunlap will ever be healthy, Upsahw is pretty much one of the worst possible scenarios. Praying this is a smokescreen. _________________

I've had this feeling for weeks. It's why I can't do a mock draft. _________________
