Great job in Round 5 with Hebron.

Just missed out on Coryell Judie to the Bengals.

let me throw a few names at you.

1. Dale Moss WR South Dakota State 6'3 213"

Quote:
South Dakota State wideout Dale Moss, 6-3 and 213 pounds, was clocked between 4.38-4.45 seconds in the 40-yard dash. He also posted a 41.5-inch vertical and a 10-10 broad jump, demonstrating exciting explosiveness. Perhaps most impressive was the burst and change of direction ability Moss showed during shuttle drills. Rarely are taller athletes capable of pivoting as fluidly as shorter athletes, but that is precisely what Moss did, clocking in at a stunning 6.32 seconds in the three-cone drill and 4.08 seconds in the short-shuttle. Moss' effort in the three-cone drill would have led all 2012 combine participants and is faster than the numbers put forth last year by former Oregon wide receiver Jeff Maehl, who led all 2011 prospects with a 6.42 second time. Moss is a particularly intriguing athlete because he only has one year of football experience. His first four years at SDSU were spent on the basketball team (he averaged 7.6 points and 5.4 rebounds in 2010-11) before he emerged as the Jackrabbits' leading receiver in 2011, catching 61 passes for 949 yards and six touchdowns. NFLDRAFTSCOUT

2. Chris Owusu 6'0 196" Stanford WR / KR

4.36 speed and leading kick returner in the pac 10.

3. Toney Clemons Colorado 6'2 210 WR

Known due to his visit for an interview.

Others too consider

DE Markus Kuhn NC State
QB Nick Foles Arizona
LB Tyler Neilsen Iowa
OLB Olivier Vernon

Those are all solid WRs at this point, Aussie, and I would be happy with any of them, but Dale Moss is already off the board...went to the Jags in Rd 5.

And kethnaab, as I was reading your comment drinking my coffee...well, my coffee came "this" close to completely covering my laptop!!! Touche', my friend...that was a good comeback.

OK, so you all don't think I have solely a one-track mind, here are some others for consideration outside of kethnaab's list:

Mammoth 5-T -- Dom Hamilton - 6'4" 313

NT -- Damon Harrison -- 6' 2 5/8" 342 -- From Wes Bunting: Impression: The kind of physically put together kid who can develop as a nose in either a 34 o4 43 front. In a weaker senior class at DT I would rather roll the dice on this higher upside kid than most of the average senior later guys at bigger schools.

CB -- Derrius Brooks -- 5' 9.5" 921 -- PFW: Very long arms. Intriguing workout numbers — 40-yard dash, vertical leap (38 inches), broad jump (10 feet, 5 inches) and short shuttle (6.61 seconds) all would have placed in the top five among cornerbacks at the Combine. Has ball skills and good hands to intercept (former receiver) — seven interceptions in just 12 career starts. Nice balance and short-area quickness. Can flip his hips and run vertical. Shows recovery speed. Has special-teams experience, including as a “gunner” and jammer.

TE -- Adrien Robinson -- 6'4" 264 that runs a 4.58 40...pretty impressive. He really does seem to do it all from his profile. Soft hands, good at running the seam, and will get after it blocking. Nearly 40" vertical and 11'3" broad jump. Teams are taking notice and has been in for a ton of visits this draft process, including the Steelers.

We are one the clock if we want to pick. Is Hemingway the pick? Olivier Vernon is the best talent at OLB but has some character issues.

That's a great idea, at23. Wish I would've thought of it!! (J/K, I'm really not trying to be a smart-alek...thanks for the back up!!)

Dude, I've been pimping him so hard the past couple of months it's not even funny. I LOVE that someone else suggested it!!!

Quote from me last night...last post on last page.

"OK, time to pick the "Old Man and the Sea". He has bid his "Farewell to Arms" to his collegiate brethren. Remember, even after all of our draft picks that haven't panned out, the "Sun Also Rises". It's time to make him the man "For Whom the Bell Tolls" in B&G.

Current Rd projections for him:

PFW - 4th
CBS - 5th
SI.com - 6th
Drafttek - 6th

And then you have the rest of the sites who have not updated their ranking recently that have him as a 7th/Priority UDFA."

Hemingway--yes, please. Very Happy We'll never take him in the real draft, so this is as close to him being on the Steelers that I'll ever see.

EDIT: Oohh, can I make the pick, please?!?! I'll have to do it in the next 15 minutes as I'm off to church soon.

Sorry, man, don't follow the PKs, really. Thanks for letting me make the pick again, guys!

I'm a 40+ year old man with a 50+ year old body (so Wii and my recent multiple surgeries tell me) and am a 13 year old emotionally. I'm all jacked up, but anyway, thanks. My draft season is fulfilled! Very Happy
