No he actually has no leverage, it's the teams that want to negotiate with him to get his salary down. When push comes to shove and you've missed out on that corner you were waiting on falling to you but missed out because someone traded above you.....that's when he gets dealt

That's true. It just surprises me that reports mentioned the Eagle FO wanting to move him prior to the draft.

So that depends on the plan, say somehow they have their eye on clayiborne, we draft him and asantes valuev plumetts. We cant take a cornerback until he's moved

Going to the Falcons I'm sure Grimes could play the slot pretty well if need be.

For me it was never about the money more about what they're doing schematically.

I know I'll get blasted but I'd hold off on resigning McCoy its a passing league, Djax & AR create fewer defenders in the box, I'm almost certain 70% of the talented backs could get 1200 yds rushing in this system, they aren't splitting carries and the screen is a staple in the offense.

I'd give him more carries/touches this yr and if he performs at that level this yr sure give him a bump.

He's our fb.

I think I officially want Barron, wouldn't mind trading up to 13 to get him.

I believe the NFL requires atleast 1 FB on the roster. According to Owen Schmitt, he believes the Eagles arn't gonna have a legit FB but a FB hybrid....So someone like Havili. Because he is like a bigger RB or an undersized FB. But as of right now Havili is the starting FB I believe seeing there is no other FB on our roster.

They can't force you to have a FB or any other position on the roster. If you want to roll without LB'ers do it!

I don't see special in Barron. Also wouldn't trade up for him. Wouldn't be pissed if we drafted him. I would be if we traded up for him though

Havili for FB in 2012. Easily my favorite pick from last year.
