The draft is 2 days away and i thought this was a good opportunity to get everyone's feelings on potential Denver Broncos. It always seems that after Denver drafts a player there is a lot of flip flopping from posters on their opinions of the players. In this thread you will make your opinion known to everyone.

I am only going to guys i think could be realistic in the 1st and early 2nd rounds as that is where i think Denver will be making their #1 pick. However, feel free to list whomever you want. Below post whether you would be Happy, So/So, or Not Happy with possible future Denver Broncos.

Happy With
Stephon Gilmore, CB, South Carolina*
Dre Kirkpatrick, CB, Alabama*
Nick Perry, DE, USC*
Chandler Jones, DE, Syracuse*
Coby Fleener, TE, Stanford*
Jerel Worthy, DT, Michigan St.*
Courtney Upshaw, DE, Alabama*
Quinton Coples, DE, UNC

So/So (players you aren't upset with, but also not thrilled) With
Devon Still, DT, Penn St.
Dontari Poe, DT, Memphis*
Michael Brockers, DT, LSU*
Peter Konz, OC, Wisconsin*
Jonathan Martin, OT, Stanford*
Whitney Mercilus, DE, Illinois*
Stephen Hill, WR, Georgia Tech
David DeCastro, OG, Stanford*
Cordy Glenn, OT/OG, Georgia
Kendall Reyes, DT, Connecticut

Not Happy With
Janoris Jenkins, CB, North Alabama
Kevin Zeitler, OG, Wisconsin
Kendall Wright, WR, Baylor
Vinny Curry, DE, Marshall
Mike Adams, OT, Ohio St.
Shea McClellin, DE/OLB, Boise St.
Doug Martin, RB, Boise St.
Lamar Miller, RB, Miami*
David Wilson, RB, Virginia Tech*
Melvin Ingram, OLB/DE, South Carolina
Andre Branch, DE, Clemson

Feel free to post whoever you want. Just something to make people a little more accountable.

Your "Happy With" picks that I'd go with are Kirkpatrick and Upshaw. I believe they are "can't miss" players with Upshaw being more of an "Impact" player. Gilmore is also on my "can't miss" list, but I just think there is ZERO chance he will be there. In any case, I can live with any from this list if they were to be our pick. Coples would be at the bottom of a list of pretty good players, for me.

From your "So/So list, is the guy I believe will be our pick at #25, Peter Konz. He is 100% "can't miss" in my book. He's a "man" among "boys", IMO. And, Konz is the guy I would take if I were making the choice.

I like several others on that list, but for me, Konz is head and shoulders above the rest. Unfortunately, he is so far ahead of all of those that he may very well be gone when we pick at #25. I believe he is at least equal to DeCastro and way ahead of Glenn. The only thing that has been holding him back is the fact he is listed as a Center. He is a helluva lot more than a Center, IMO. And he is SAFE. I just can't see EFX and DelRio taking a flyer in the 1st Rd. Or even a moderately risky pick. And from what I heard from Elway concerning the Mock's he's looked at, and how ridiculous so many are, leads me to believe they are in NO mood to take chances here.

And I'm with you on the "Not Happy With" list. There are some good players there, some that we will be hearing about in years to come. But they are all risks.

I'm curious about the lack of love for Kendall Wright. One of my favorite guys in the draft.

To me he is elite talent plays waaaay faster than his 40...falls in the draft because of his 40. I see him as a steve smith clone...great deep threat (which we still lack.)

I just don't see it. He is a quicker than fast player whom will have trouble lining up on the outside. I am not a big fan of SLOT WR's in the 1st round, much like RB's you can find similar players in the middle of the draft.

Too lazy. So I'll just say I like Elliot's list, except: switch Worthy and Perry, move Hightower to so-so, move Miller and Wilson to unhappy.

I'm not as down on Hightower as most. I still think we are weak up the middle, and Hightower would be an improvement over Mays and Irving. Not psyched about a RB in round 1. If we take one, I want it to be Martin. Unless Floyd slips, I'll be very unhappy with a WR in round 1. That includes Fleener

You've got Worthy in both the Like and So-So. categories. Does that mean you only like him so-so??
