NFL Network analyst Mike Mayock posted his first and only 2012 mock draft today. At 13, he Mayock has Arizona selecting Iowa OT Riley Reiff but with things usually becoming tough call after the first 8-9 picks, that's 100% up in the air. The intrigue here and where things really get to impacting us at 13 is what happens in those first 5-6 picks. In 2011, Mayock correctly guessed EVERY SINGLE top 5 pick(Including Von Miller to Denver), as well as correctly guessing that Cleveland would trade out of the 6th spot to a team(he didn't say who) wanting to select Julio Jones. When it comes to intel at the top of the draft, Mayock's 100% plugged in. Here's how he sees it:

1. Colts-Andrew Luck, QB Stanford
2. Redskins- Robert Griffin III, QB Baylor
3. Vikings- Matt Kalil, OT USC
4. Browns- Justin Blackmon, WR Oklahoma State
5. Buccaneers- Trent Richardson, RB Alabama

Kalil going at 3 is not the greatest thing in the world for us but we should all have been prepared for it. The Browns taking Blackmon is especially interesting, as Mayock has said for weeks now that the Browns SHOULD take Richardson.

I wonder if St. Louis decides to grab Floyd instead of Claiborne, how that could shake things up before we pick. Tomorrow night is going to be interesting for sure!

If Floyd and Blackmon are gone by Carolina and Reiff is there i'm giving up our 3rd.

Mel Kiper's newest mock has the Arizona Cardinals selecting South Carolina DE Melvin Ingram with the 13th overall pick.

the Cardinals wont pass on Michael Floyd for Riley Reiff, i just dont see it.

i Cant see us going pash rusher in round either. i think the team would rather draft Cordy Glenn than Melvin Ingram.

Scott Wright posted his final mock draft, and its pretty solid overall. although i have one problem with it. he has us taking a pash rusher in round 3, and his reasoning behind the pick is because "o'Brian Schofield and Sam Acho have not emerged as elite pash rushers"

he is not wrong...but Sam Acho was excellent for a rookie 4th round pick, and Schofield has potential through the roof. Wright is a smart guy, and i love reading his stuff...but his lack of cardinal knowledge does show through at times.

As much as it pains me, do not discount Cordy Glenn.

I have a bad feeling he's gonna be the guy if Floyd isn't on the board.

You'd think they'd know that's TERRIBLE value at 13th.

I just can't see them pulling the trigger THERE on Glenn.

Just have to hold out hope that our prior two drafts have taught us about value over need.

I'm not sure they do know that. I think they like Glenn's size and see him as a right tackle fit. I don't think they want a guard(Decastro). Praying I'm wrong. Praying Floyd or Reiff is on the board.

I have made about six mock drafts in the past two days...and I keep coming up with Floyd at 13. Glenn is absolutuly in play, and you are 100% correct in saying that our staff might perfer him over Reiff or DeCastro...but I think/hope it will be Michael Floyd holding up the jersey at 13.

If we pick Glenn over Reiff, I'll be one ticked off guy.

Jurecki tweeted that he thinks the Cardinals have Reiff ranked higher than Glenn. Please, please, please be right Jurecki.

McShay just said on air that the Cards love Glenn.

most of us would be. With Reiff we are getting a right tackle at worst, and a left tackle at best. With Glenn we are getting a right tackle at best, and a RG at worst.

It's like an NFL draft version of Pascals wager, we would be the laughing stock of the NFL that's for sure.

Pegged it 100% correct. Along with that, the worst case scenario has Glenn at guard. At 13, we'd likely be passing on a much better guard prospect in David DeCastro.

LOL, definition of adding insult to injury.

He's ALWAYS wrong on Cardinals news but for what it's worth, Jason La Canfora says the Cardinals are ready to move up to secure Michael Floyd.

I hope that he is wrong again...we cant move up. Otherwise we are kissing goodbye to our 3rd rounder...and maybe more. Perhaps a pick next year as well.

We cant build a winning a team if we trade all our high draft picks away. And this is coming from a guy who really wants to see Michael Floyd in Arizona.
