I really hope this guy can become a C, though. I think he'd be perfect. But, we did take him as a G (on the draft card), so the plan is probably to have him compete with Kilgore.

I really think Goodwin was a liability last season. He was our worse lineman not named Chilo (Chilo being our worse (and best) lineman named Chilo).

Yeah, we seem kinda left in the dark trying to figure out what the OL plan really is. Not too worried... we have some time to figure it out, and enough options and good coaching to be better than we were.

Any complaints if we take Cliff Harris in 6th round? Obviously already have a CB signed who is very talented but has off field issues in Cox.

Yes. I think we have all the 'issue' players we need on this roster. Confused

Not a fan, myself. Much rather select a guy like Prater, Asa Jackson, Chris Greenwood, and others.

Gotcha, might have some 559 biased towards him but he is a flat out ball hawk who gave Harbaugh and the guys hell every time he faced them. His off field issues are disturbing though.

Exactly I think we go safety before we pick corner but it depends who's there when we pick! I don't like huff at all.

I think the Looney pick is solid. What I think this really means is Alex Boone and Kilgore are going to be serious options to be starters this year. I wouldn't be surprised if Boone moves to RT and Davis and Kilgore duke it out at RG.

edit: Brain Fart.

Harbaugh was on NFLN and said the 49ers view Looney as a starting Guard. Didn't mention if it was immediately or down the line. So he probably isn't being looked at the C position.

Thats cool I have to share a birthdate with the tool bag Ashton kutcher same year even. Its also James Dean's birthday not the same year obviously so that nearly cancels it out the [inappropriate/removed] that Kutcher provides.

I share mine with Hines Ward... and James van der Beek and Freddie Prinze Jr.. d'oh!

What I really think will happen is this: competition between Kilgore and Looney at RG. The loser learns the C position behind Goodwin.

Boone gets stuck as the backup swing-tackle again? Sad
