some clips from youtube
Burris is a ball hawk always around the ball, covers ground quickly, uses an array of moves of the edge could become a situational pass rusher from the weakside.

He looks like he'll be fun to watch my sleeper for defense of rookie of the year he'll probably start before the year is up.

Between Curry and Wheeler, Burris won't get enough snaps to get recognition for any accolades it seems to me. Unless he can put up sack numbers like Aldon Smith, which is highly, highly unlikely. And I can't see him uprooting Curry or Wheeler at this point. But thing's change in training camp.

Wheeler only signed 1 year and the Raiders will be mixing in more 3-4 this year so I bet he'll get some playing time.

Not only that, the fact that all of them come from a 3-4 defense as well.

I don't think we have decent backup lb's to play much 3-4. Basically we replaced 1 starter (Wimbley) and 1 backup (Groves) in a 4-3 with Wheeler and Burris.

They have 7 LB's how many do you think they should have ?

Burris, Miles
Curry, Aaron
Goethel, Travis
Ihenacho, Carl
McClain, Rolando
Stupar, Nathan
Wheeler, Philip

And not only that they could move these guys to WSLB in the 3-4 remember allot of DE play WSLB in the 3-4

Tollefson, Dave
Shaughnessy, Matt
Davis, Hall
Brodine, Mason

Oh 7 or 8 is more then enough, however it's not the quantity that i'm worried about, it's the quality. I'm not sold on Shaughnessy or Tollefson playing wslb. Goethel didn't show me last year he is starting material, and to expect this from a 5th or 7th round rookie is a bit to much for me. Add to this that we don't have a true 3-4 NT to begin with.

I have no problem with us doing some hybrid form in which we have like 10-20% 3-4 looks during a game, but at this point i don't think we have the personell in terms of quality and quantity to be better in 3-4 then in 4-3. Imo we have the starters that fit a 4-3 (apart maybe from Rolando) and have decent depth at all positions (Tollefson (de), Bryant (DT), Goethel&Burris at lb). When we go 3-4 we don't have a (backup) NT, no backup ILB and one could question if our starting NT and 1 of our starting ILB is truely of starting calibre in that scheme (imo Seymour and Kelly are not starting material as a 3-4 NT).

I don't know a thing about Kaelin Burnett but my guess is he's a LB for us. Maybe Darius Nall as well.

Absent a NT, a 34 front seems glaringly obviously to me as well regardless of public statements. I feel infinitely better about Seymour and TK at DE in a 34 than I do as LDT & RDT in a 43 as well.

Our LB's are expected to blitz a lot more. If I remember correctly when Curry blitzed it didn't always work out. I could be wrong. But it does favor Burris and I wouldn't be surprised to see a 7-8 sack season from him.

Burris can play inside or outside linebacker and has a nose for the football. He's athletic and strong with a relentless motor.

In addition to immediately becoming a pass-rush specialist,

Burris is another special teams player along with 7th Round pick Nate Stupar. He is the nephew of ex-Raider quarterback Jeff Hostetler.
