TE Jake Bryne sounds good to me. A blocking TE who's apparently really good at it. _________________

Two new guys we signed, both have some promise(unlike the 238172031 safeties):
OT Aderious Simmons:
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/nfl/draft-2012/players/110940.html
| Quote: |
Analysis: Simmons showed a lot of skill in 2010 but was unable to develop his game last year due to his ankle injury. He's a sleeper offensive line prospect who can be used at guard or potentially grow into a right tackle if given the opportunity to improve his game. |
DE Tyrunn Walker Tulsa _________________

Jose Gumbs is an interesting prospect, I liked what I saw on tape from him and he's quite an athlete 4.4 40 yard dash, 41 inch vertical, 20 reps and 4.28 20 yard shuttle...I'll be keeping my eye on him _________________

I'm really hoping for Chase Ford TE from the University of Miami. Similar build as Jimmy Graham but from what I been reading he's compare most to Zach Miller. _________________

His vertical is very impressive.

Kevin Hardy is a speedier guy, but WR is so crowded, he doesn't have a real shot IMO. _________________

Didn't he play in a couple preseason games for the Broncos last season?
We signed him in 2011, but cut him. Did we resign him this year? He looks like a cross between PT and Ivory. Not a lot of speed, but he doesn't shy away from contact and rarely goes down on the first hit. _________________

I think that was Stephon Johnson, the guy that had the bench bar fall on his throat. _________________

Anyone else see a common trait among our draftees this year?
Really great measurables. Hicks/White/Toon/Jones.
The guy I really like from this UDFA class has to be Tyrunn Walker.
8.5 sacks, 3 FF, 13.5 TFL, 8 PD and 41 tackles (24 solo).
6'4'' 298 lbs and runs a 4.9 40. His pro day:
Bench press: 20
Vert: 28
Broad: 9'04
20 yd shuttle: 4.83
3 cone: 7.37
In comparison, Hicks had:
5.23 40
Bench press: 27
Vert: 32
Broad: 9'02
20 yd shuttle: 4.86
3 cone: 7.39
And unlike Hicks, Walker actually faced good competition. Against OK State he had a 3 TFL and 1 sack game.
We could have a diamond in the rough here. _________________
