Yeah. That's the only downside to the pick. Martinez single-handedly turned the Wisconsin-Nebraska game into a blowout last year. He is bad. | Yeah. I still think Wisconsin would have won, but it was looking like a really good game. Then, it wasn't. Quickly.
In Martinez's defense, that was still the point of the season where the coaching staff was trying to force him to be a more traditional passing QB, which is very clearly is not. He can do short stuff decently and he's really pretty solid off of playaction. His intermediate passing is atrocious. Once they tailored the playcalling a bit more to his style, he actually did appreciably better throwing the ball last season. Still, he's not good and when his wheelhouse isn't working, he gets in trouble fast. Some of the picks he throws are just brutal to watch (See: bowl game v. SCar). _________________

He has NFL arm strength, throws a pretty ball, and has some mobility. His last QB start was as a junior in HS (injury senior year) and has sat behind Ryan Tannehill. It is a 99% chance of Showers for the Fightin' Texas Aggies SEC debut
Brandon Williams, RB, Texas A&M
If his waiver clears (transfer from OU), he will be a great addition to a running back group that includes Christine Michael, Ben Malena, and 5 star recruit Trey Williams. He has been a playmaker this spring. |
Additionally, if Kendall Wright was a 1st rounder, then Ryan Swope ought to be as well. Swope is bigger, runs better routes, and succeeded in a pro system.
EDIT: Further, Sean Porter looks like he's gained about 20 pounds of muscle. I think he could be a 1st or 2nd rounder as a rush LB. _________________ Welcome to Houston, DeAndre Hopkins!

Dion Jordan - DE
Had a great year last year, but most people still donīt know who he is. He was absolutely unblockable this spring. Our OC who coached Terrell Suggs at ASU says the only defense player heīs had disrupt the offense as much Suggs is Jordan. They even had to sit him out of the Spring Game because he was so damn good.
Michael Clay - LB
Another guy who had a great year last year and nobody talks about. People want to talk about Kiko Alonso, but Clay is our best LB. He is fast, strong, and he is as good of a tackler as Iīve seen at Oregon. He was the one who stuffed Montee Ball at the Rose Bowl. Get used to this name.
Everyone likes to talk about our offense, but our defense might be better than our offense this year. Think about that for a minute. _________________

Non-Michigan picks:
Washington State WR Marquess Wilson - Already a very good/great WR, but he will have a Crabtree-like impact in Mike Leach's system.
Notre Dame RB/KR George Atkinson III - Brian Kelly will do himself a great disservice if he doesn't find a way to get this kid 15~ touches a game. Very explosive.
Ohio State LB Ryan Shazier - Kid has all the makings to be one of the best LB's in college football, will only be a sophomore, so it may take him some time, but the kid is a missile.
Northwestern QB Kain (sp?) Colter - Mr. Do Everything last year (QB, WR, I think some RB). Will take over for Dan Persa as the full time QB. _________________

He's put on about 20 lbs of muscle and hasn't lost a step... the kid might just kill somebody today seeing as how he was about 200lbs last year and laying people out...
Ohio State CB Bradley Roby - Has all the skills to be the best CB in the nation, big, fast, good hips, good ball skills, physical, just needs to have some pressure applied by the DL. _________________

From Penn State:
Allen Robinson looks poised to excel in this offense
Nationally:
Zac Stacy & Warren Norman (Vandy), Alex Carder (WMU), Brandon Joiner (Ark State), Ryan Shazier, I guess people consider Marquess Wilson to be under the radar despite being the PAC 12's best WR, so him, Travis Johnson (SJSU), & Taylor Lewan should take a big step this year. _________________ I'm a closet Vanderbilt fan.

| Sean Porter and Ryan Swope are more well known (well atleast to Aggies/in-state football fans), that's why I didn't include them. |

For the Vols we obviously have Rogers, Bray, and Hunter (who are big names) so I will just mention them. Some under the radar players for us next season would be...
LT Dallas Thomas
-He has prototypical size to be good, and he has been a starter and leader for our football team for the past few years.
OLB AJ Johnson
-He was a starter from day one last year as a Freshman. He was probably our best LB and can really play a leadership role for us. I think this kid will be special.
TE Mychal Rivera
-He transferred to us a year ago, and played well last year, but it has been reported all offseason he will play a bigger role for us next season.
RB Marlin Lane
-I think he will step in and play well as a Sophomore. He was the star player of the spring game, and we will definitely utilize him in the running and passing game. _________________

UCLA RSF QB Brett Hundley is wowing in practices and will flourish in Mazzone's system.

I always feel like championship teams need 1 crazy guy on the team.

| Chris Nwoke from Colorado State is primed to have a big year running the ball. He had games of 269yds and 232yds last season, which only LeMichael James accomplished last year. The addition of McElwain as the HC should only help him. |

Wright wasn't considered a first round pick by the talking heads until his senior year. I could see Swope having the same progress that Wright had last year. As much as it pains me to say it, I actually like watching Swope play football so I wouldn't be opposed to him at all. He will be a weapon coming of the slot. |
